I think that the ultimate castration (penectomy) scene is in "The Last Woman" or "L' ultima donna" by Marco Ferreri. In it, Gerard Depardieu (who has many full frontal nude scenes) slices off his penis with an electric carving knife out of dispair because man's virility and sexual organs have seemingly become so common in women's lives, and no longer admired for their physical existance alone. The castration scene is VERY graphic. This 1976 film is difficult, but not impossible, to find and order by looking in cult film magazines such as Psychotronic.
