testicle size and anti androgen Rx

I have read many interesting posts and learned much in the past few weeks. I wonder if taking spiro or a stronger anti androgen might lead to some shrinkage of testicular mass? I have neutering as my goal,like others, but want to be impotent for a while before I get serious about castration. I hate the look of my testes and wish they would shrink. any serious answer/comment will be welcome. thanks, Helen

In my experience spironolactone don't give a good shrinkage.

I have only a little experience with CA, so I cannot say much about this, but it seems being effective.

But I have a good and large experience with injectable estrogens and progestinics on a lot of brasilian and italian transgender, so I can say that a long therapy with an association of injectable estrogens and progestinics can give a certain shrinkage after someyears of therapy; if the progestinic is DP150 (one shot each two month, or more frequently) the shrinkage is greater and faster.

Many years ago I started a chemical teraphy with various hormons on my boyfriend (a transgender) in order of feminilizating him, and from many months he is taking on a shot of DP150 each 2 months + 1 shot of estradiol benzoato (or valerato) each month

His nuts and penis are very shrinked

his nut shrinked more than 50%, now they seem two beans;

his penis is now 3 1/2" long when erected and 1" when flacid (before it was 6" erected and 2" or 3" when flacid)

But this happened only after many years of hormonal theraphy and after more than one year under DP150: shinkage is not a quick think

This is perhaps a little off-topic on this board, and I know that my user name is poorly chosen, since I do not have much interest in chemical castration, but I am curious about one thing.

With all this talk of chemicals that cause your testicles to shrink, I wonder: Are there any chemicals which could cause my testicles to get bigger? Perhaps so that they can be avoided in the process of chemical castration.

Spiro caused noticeable shrinkage for me. Also the addition of estrogen caused much much more shrinkage that just spiro alone.

I know of no chemicals that would cause testicles to enlarge in the context of this discussion. Once adult size is reached you can't expect enlargement other than by direct injection, trauma or inflamation. --FLO--

Hi, I appreciate the thoughtful replies. I am off Spiro now as I had such painful urination. I am taking 5 mg finesteride (fincar) and am pleased that I can sleep through the night without arising to urinate. I don't think this is a powerful anti-androgen, but what do I know? I may want to escalate the Rx regimen with bicaltimide (cadadex) to kill the libido and maybe enhance feminization. I believe from my own analysis as well as the wise comments of others that it is essential to verify that I want to be a non-sexual being in the conventional sense before I get castrated with no rewind button!Has anyone experience with bicaltimide? supposed to be less hard on the body that androcur (sp?). thanks, Helen

I had a brief, though for me very intense, period of Androcur. I had a test phase during the last month of October, 2x50 mg/day.

I have a padlock that I use as a scrotal electrode during electrostimulation. Before my test period I could pass my right testicle only in a warm bath, being relaxed and determined to pass it. Then the (bigger left one) could pass relatively easy.

Half November that right testicle passed without much effort. I even could pass the left one first. It’s only now, almost three months later that my testicles reached more or less the original volume.

Like I stated in other posts: that brief period was very intense for me. Even now I feel less aggressive and much more tolerant. I hope this my stay.

delayed post-have been on spiro again for over a year. 200 mg daily. I don't have those naughty erections. no real shrinkage of testicles, though. guess each reacts differently. best, helen
