Chat does NOT work
It was working for those using a standalone IRC program. The Javachat had to be reset by hand, however. That has now been done.

Thanks to River and his staff of feline helpers. The chat is working again 
I was even able to see our archivist...anyone notice he's gaining some healthy weight and was able to get a taste of booze while he has been visiting Grandpa Toad
