discarded stories
over the years there has been a lot of stories discarded for one reason or another, I would love to see a separate section set up for these stories to be left for a few days at least, I know some of them have screwed up spelling or puncuation, but there will be stories there that will be entertaining. respectfully Hrlyrdr01

There are a LOT of reasons that go way beyond spelling or punctuation why stories get passed on. Quite frankly, on those few occasions when I filled in for Paolo in moderating stories, I took great pity on him. I sympathize with his giving up that glorious post after so many years. Of course, he also got first dibs on the stories that came across that were really good ones.
While a lot of those rejected I wouldn't even think of posting anywhere, there are still lot of stories that come through that are very good and on-topic, whether polished or not. It's the old good/bad, wheat/chaff thing....
