Woman Charged With Malicious Castration

LILLINGTON, N.C. - A woman attacked a man in his genitals during a Christmas party, injuring him badly enough that he needed 50 stitches, authorities said Friday. Rebecca Arnold Dawson, 34, was charged with malicious castration in a fight early Tuesday at a party hosted by the 38-year-old man's girlfriend, police said. All three were heavily intoxicated, police Chief Frank Powers said.

Dawson is accused of grabbing the man's genitals. Police said a weapon was not used. He declined to elaborate. "I believe he needed more than 50 stitches to repair the damage, but he is back home at this point," police Cpl. Brad Stevens said. "All we can tell you is that the injury was done with her hands." Dawson does not have a listed phone number.

State law describes malicious castration as cutting off, maiming or disfiguring a person's genitals with the intent to hurt or render the victim impotent. Dawson, who was released Wednesday on $50,000 bond, also was charged with offenses including assault causing serious bodily injury. The castration arrest was the first of its kind in Lillington, a town of about 3,000 roughly 30 miles south of Raleigh, Powers said.

Not just women like this Rebecca Arnold Dawson, and not just castration things. I mean society as a whole, it seems that society as a whole is getting more and more violent as time goes on. You hear more and more stories about somebody attacking someone and for seemingly simple and insignificant reasons. And some of the things people do to other people, even the animals aren't that violent and mean.

I don't think it's just that we hear about it more, I think society is becoming more and more violent and I have to ask why that is, what is happening to us, to people and society. Why? What can be done about it?

Gun control and weapon control isn't the answer. The real problem is people's anger and violent feelings and actions. You can control guns and other weapons all you want but that won't deal with people's violent attitudes and the violent feelings and violent attitudes is what makes people strike out and hurt other people.

Are we becomming a world of sadists or violent sickos who can't control their anger? If we are, then why are we becoming that and what can be done to stop it and deal with it?

Most violence occurs between acquaintences who share relationships of some sort.

One, especially one who frequents this site, might ask if those of us who are angry enough about our bodies to alter them or to allow them to be altered should be considered in your statement?

In most assault laws in most if not all states the victim does not have to be part of the prosecution of the perpetrator. This means that even if the act was consentual the perpetrator could still be prosecuted.

Now. Ask yourself this. If your Goddess came along and castrated you and cut your scrotum, testicles and all off, and if the scene went wrong and you ended up on a surgery table getting re-constucted, without genitalia, would 50 stiches do the job? Of course, what idiot would let the news media count stiches?

Then, what might become of your Goddess, since you did not have to testify against her for her to go to jail?

Maybe, just maybe, this woman is the Goddess of your dreams and these terrible things that are being said of her are not completely accurate.

You know, it would not be the first time that the media distorted or outright lied about such an event to sell copy...
