Astronomy Cat,

Is your result good news or bad news? When I took the test and got a 3, I was somewhat relieved to see the explanation of the results: "Your gender problems are REAL..." Said to myself, "So I'm not manufacturing this distress on my own. I'm not in a tizzy over nothing." Confirmation of our own suspicions is comforting to an extent. But that leaves a real problem to deal with.

There's a useful gender identity test at Tickle.com. We had a thread about it here with several members' results, but the thread seems to have bitten the dust.

Any questions in the COGIATI which stand out in your mind? Some answers I identified with immediately (like hoping an accident would eliminate Mr. Penis). Others didn't bear any apparent significance until my GID worsened later on (such as how we want to be remembered after death).

There's a thread on this - maybe several - in the past. Both myself and my partner have done the test. I fell in the 3 category, and he fell in the 4. Both of us chalk the results up to being gay more than being transsexual. However, he luvs cross-dressing occasionally and makes an absolute beautiful gal.

Hi astronomycat,

I took the test and scored a 275, classification 4, probable transsexual.

Nice to know that my therapists conclusions and diagnosis are confirmed. :)

Here is the most recent, prominent thread on the topic for viewing other responses.

A good way to check stuff like this is to use our search function. Works wonderfully.

Because the Moir-Jessel Brain Sex Test is biased in favor of your birth sex, your score will differ depending on your sex.

If you are Male...

Your score is 65

Feminine Male

You score significantly more feminine than the average male. Male scores above 60 may show a brain sex bias to the female.

I also had the comment from my shrink that I was very in touch with my feminine side in the MMPI test?

What gives? Should I be MrsT?!?! That would really put a damper on my Saturday nights!

Anyone called Mr. T must be 100% male. One must be that to call themselves that symbol of maleness. On the other hand there are a lot of jewlery showing and there is that low cut blouse, excuse me, shirt. Nevermind :)

That is exactly what I thought but these tests are starting to bug MrT! :(

Thats first name Mister, middle name Period after the Mister. Last name T!

Geeze I may have to ask my Doc for more testosterone. And all this Jewlery HAS GOT to go. The low cut blouse? Well... At least its not Garters and Stockings...

I think this test is goofy, and based on old-fashioned gender stereotypes. Anyway, it's not at all scientific and shouldn't be used to make decisions in one's life.
