Is it possible for a normal male to induce lactation?

Hi,

Let me introduce myself. I'm a 29 year old muscular male that is interested in male lactation. My girlfriend would find it fantastic if I could lactate. So now the question, is it possible to induce lactation without growing breasts? I don't mind if they swell up a little bit when they lactate, but I want them to go back normal if I ever stop it.

I tried Fenugreek and a lot of nipple stimulation so far for the last 2 weeks... but still nothing...

So is it possible? I don't want larger nipples or breasts.

On BME video there is a video of a eunuch milking himself. He/She/whatever is on estrogen and their breast did form looks like a B cup (but I am not an expert of breast).

I always had something with nipples since I was a child.

Don't know why but I find nipple stimulation fantastic... so I want to take it a step further .... start lactating.

I did have a quick look at BME video but that's not a site for me... I don't mind what people do to them self..... but BME video is a little bit to much for me.

I think it is possible for a male to lactate but it would probably require more breast development than you are likely to tolerate. --FLO--

As I understand it, the answer is that

it is possible for a male to lactate

and produce viable milk. Pubescent boys will sometimes produce a small amount naturally, but this stops as they develop.

The size of the breast is not a factor - most of a woman's breast is fat, the milk ducts are relatively small.

The production of milk is triggered by hormones, probably related to oestrogen and it is known that these can be triggered by suckling. However, I would guess that testosterone will suppress the effect so that it is less for a 'normal' male to produce milk.

Milk production starts in pregnant women because of the action of the hormone prolactin. Without that, you won't produce milk, and it is produced in extremely small amounts in men and even in non-pregnant women. Then again, even with prolactin I suspect you'd have a very hard time producing breastmilk since, as a male, your mammary glands are undeveloped. I've had a male patient about three months ago who claimed that he was producing milk, but it turned out it was just exudate.

Another thing, even if you do produce milk, it won't come out without enough levels of the hormone oxytocin. (that's the one produced by massaging your breast and nipples.
