I missed some days of Androcur

Hello friends

I am now in my 4th week of Androcur 2x50mg but last week I was out and could not take it for 4 days. Should I just continue or should I take more for 2 to 4 days to get back to the level.

By the way, I feel great and like the effect up to now very much. I seam to be calmer (that is what I was told from others) and am not followed any more by thoughts about sex. I feel I have more time for my self now.

I have been on androcur for almost three years now. I think three times during that time. I did not take my drugs for almost four weeks when I was in the hospital this year. I resumed my meds when I was feeling better but never noticed any difference while I was not on it.

I don't think this is a problem. Certainly you must not take the 'forgotten' pills. Just continu your daily dose of 2x50 mg.

I also took androcur for one month at the same dosage. It's two weeks now I quit. There are still no spontaneous erections. Touching my penis is initially like touching my nose or toe. No exitation at all. Only when persisting a erection comes and now, gradually sperm quantity is augmenting. Also the caracteristic odour is comming back.

anymore. 50 mg per day keeps me

in a good mood. If I feel without

energy, I just stop taking it for a while.

Thanks for your input. I am back on Androcur for the last 4 days and as described by others, it just seams as if I had not stopped taking it. I feel just great, the only thing I find is that I need more sleep (at least 1 hour more) to be able to get all thins done. Other then that I am great full of not having to bother about my sex drive and to have my head free for other things. I seam to have gained about 3kg in the last 2-3 weeks. Something I have to monitor very carefully in the next months to come.

Five years ago I did two things, I quit smoking and started taking Androcur, I was castrated a year later. I was 150 lbs when I started I now weigh 210 lbs. I am not sure which to blame it on, but I would not change a thing.

Naaaah.....foolish thought!
