Painful Erections After Castration?
Hi Everyone,
A question was raised on another thread, and we're asking it here to prevent thread-drift on the original. Please add your input!
QUESTION: Are erections painful for eunuchs who get them infrequently?
I claim "yes" because the penis doesn't get stretched regularly (something nighttime erections accomplish for intact males).
What is your experience?
Terri

Re: Painful Erections After Castration?
When my testosterone level was low, I did not have painful erections. I did not have many erections, but, when I did, they were not painful. Of course, I am intact, but the levels were extremely low.

I am clipped. When I get erections, whether on full, half, or no T, they are never painful. Never heard of such a thing in general, although there are folks who experience such things with testicles. I don't believe that this would be a generalized phenomenon.

Yes, but only after having been a eunuch (no erections) for about 8 months, then getting on HRT and getting erections again. Sometimes the nocternal erections would be so hard, and yes stretch out the erectile tissue, and skin it would hurt. Once the cock, expanded back to it's old self again though (about 3 months in my case). it was no longer painful.

Re: Painful Erections After Castration?
I am still attached to my testicles but, they have had no function for the last 10 years or so. No sperm, no testosterone. I have had erections many times without any pain both before and after the hormone injections I'm now getting. In my seemingly endless reading I have not encountered accounts of painful erections associated with castration alone. Maybe I'm missing some information here. --FLO--

I rarely get a notable erection, but when I do, it is not painful. It can be uncomfortable though as there is no pleasure in it - just pressure. Prior to surgery there was always a pleasureable sensation involved (except for those unfortunate puberty related ones).

Re: Painful Erections After Castration?
No painful erections experienced at all, since my castration several months ago. I am on testerone implants, but shouldn't make any difference to pain. I'm sure any pain present would be the result of the castration proceedure carried out (surgeon had a bad day at the office, or an unqualified person!) or previous underlying conditions.
I hope that anyone experiencing pain heads straight for their doctor/urologist just to confirm that nothing sinister is going on.
