Androcur, problem with eye sight

Post by Nacho (imported) »

Hello, I am new here.

First something about myself. I had a peace full child hood. My parents let me do and wear what I liked and with that said, I made my first experience with other boys very early. I can remember well my first rubber boots which I wanted to have in yellow. In the part of the town I was soon seen as some one soft and different. I was beaten a lot (only from boys) and all sort of names where screamed at me. This was later calming down as I realized that to do what others do would be best. In puberty I then learned to play the role of the gentlemen, always getting around of having an affair and as homosexuality was out of the question, yes that is how I was brought up, I only started to find my way in this direction when I was about 22. No body new if I was or was not straight/bi/gay or... Well at least until I was 42. During all that period I only had very few contacts with sex. My sexuality was mostly mastered by my self, sometime I managed to suppress all feelings and body functions. I always and still do have a hate/love with my genitals. With age I learnt to accept them but still up to today I would want everything smooth when I look down my body. I wish not to feel anything between my legs.

I found this site and have been keeping an eye on it now for some time. Due to all the statements I read here I dared to start a test period for my self. I am on Androcure now for 5 days and plan to take it for 6 to 9 months.

The only side effects I have encountered so far is that I have a problem in seeing in focus, some how I have to concentrate very hard when reading a book – is that common and do you think this will go away with time.

I take Androcur in form of tablets, is it easy to change to Androcure Depo as soon as I have used up the tablets or should I stay with them.

I am alarmed to hear of your problem and very concerned. I don't know of any commom side effects regarding eyesight. Some other readers may know more about it than I do. I would suggest that you consult a physician and be completely open about the Androcur that you are taking. --FLO--

I'm thinking that you are experiencing middle age eye problems and you probably will need bifocals. I doubt that the Androcur is causing your problem with near focus. Get your eyes checked first.

I've been on Andocur for almost 3 months and have had no eye problems. Suggest eye exam if you haven't had one in a year or two.

For me everything is going very well. Only down side is I have had a couple of very intense hot flashes and ended up soaking wet after they passed. The fact that erections have stopped and my libido is near zero are all pluses for me.

I just finished reading the physician's informational monogram regarding Androcur. It shows no indications at all of impact on eye sight. Are you diabetic? Any sugar over-loads? That can cause what you are describing. Keep in mind that low T levels are associated with diabetes, usually Type II. Which is causative is not clear. Otherwise, suggest you see an opthalmologist soon if this does not clear up.

Hello, thank's for all the usefull tips. Just to keep you updated: On Saturday all was OK and I had no problem what so ever. I have reconstructed, that I had a problem with my digestion and was on that day rather tired. All together caused that insecurity. But I will take the advice to see my Doc in the next day. Hope She will take it well when I tell her.

Any avice on changing from tablets to Androcure Depo.

All the best
