chemical castration by estrogen

I have been thinking and reading non-stop about hormone therapy for f-2-m transition for a while now... i would like to try it, but i'm still young and not too sure if i wanna give up the possibility of children just yet... however i would like to see some feminizing effects.

If i take an estrogen dose of 4-6 mg of Progynova and 100mg of Spironolactone to block the testosterone while i take the estrogen. Just want to see what my body would look like if i was to transition. I have a month supply waiting... i'm just nervous to take it without knowing all the angles.

My question is, how long do you have to be on estrogen to become castrated (or infertile)? i know the answer is different for everyone, but a nice ballpark of 3mo to 6mo or 6mo to a year would be nice...

estradiolo valerato (progynova) has very good feminilizating effect, but progynova is an oral formulation, and it's not very good for feminilization

for having castration with estradiolo valerato you must take a big amount of progynva, very very much!,and this is not a good thing for your liver and your healt

a better choice is an injectatable formulation of estrogen, I think

estradiolo valerato is very good for increase your brests and for giving you a smoth skin etc etc, but it don't have great effect on ipotalamo-ipofisi, so it is not effective in stop your production of testosterone and castrate yourself

for castrate yourself you may take specific therapy, as spironolattone or androcur (ciproterone acetato)

I dont like spironolattone, it may reduce testosterone production only 50%,

androcur is very effective, it may reduce 100% testosterone production but irt may have side effetcs

I think it's not safe for your healt as depoprovera150mg (medrossiprogesterone acetato)

for me the better choice

depo provera has no important side effetc, the most serious side effect is osteoporosis after some years of teraphy

but osteoporosis induced by depoprovera must be prevented with somministration of an injectable estrogen (or injectable testosterone, but in this case castration will not be effective, and you reach only infertility)

Medrossiprogesteroneacetato + testosterone (injectable) is a male anticonceptional formulation used in China: men became steril, but have normal sex drive and erection, but after one year of this teraphy men may have irreversible testicular atrophy

remeber that many time chemical castration is not reversible, many months or many years of chemical castration may bring you to testicular atrophy, your nuts shrik, yuor penis too, you have no sex drive, no erection; if castration is not complete yuo may have erection and orgasm, but with no eiaculation

many time testicular atrophy is not reversible, so when you stop chemical terapy with progestative and estrogen your nuts may be not albe in produce spermatozoos as once; and your nuts will be permanently shrinked

if you really want castrate yourself and femilizate your body, ther are two way

the quick way and the slow way (I prefer the second, it's more safe for healt)

the quick way is two shots (300mg) in a time of DP150, then one shot of DP150 each week for 6 weeks

in 6 weeks the testicolar production of testosterone is completely blocked in 70/80% of treated men

after the sixth month castration is maintained with a shot of DP each 8 weeks

the slow way (I think it is very more safe for liver and healdt, and have pratically no side effect) is a shot of DP150 each 4 weeks until you have no sex drive and no erection (6months may be necessary) than one shot each 8 weeks to mantein castration

if you want feminilizate youself, during this time you must take shots of estrogens too, one shot each months

it's non necessary take estrogens more frequently, it is not effective (and may be dangerous for healt!) because your boby need the rigth time for change

for having brest growth many months may be necessary, you must be patient

I dont know the injectable estrogens you may find in your contry, the better estrogens are

you may find them in injectabl formulation with a progestinic, these are formulation for anticonceptional use

oral formulations are not effective

my boyfriend is chemically castraded and very feminine

now he take

DP150, one shot each 8 weeks

his castration is 90%, if stimulated for a long long time he reach a bit of erection and orgasm, but have no eiaculation, his nut and penis are very shrinked, his breasts are very big

some months ago I began castrating myself in a soft and low way, with DP150 and DP 50, one shot each 4 weeks (150 +50, after 4 weeks 50, after 4 weeks 150+50 , after 4 weeks 50 ....), now I have no nocturnal erection, no spontaneous erection, no interest in having sex as once I had.

I just got off of my 6 month test run and here's what I learned:

First off, I am in my early 50's, a little overweight and had the same fantasy you did. I've had it for as long as I can remember but never tried to do anything about it because I have a family, kids and now grandkids and was in a very macho job (military). I retired and the kids left home (mostly) and my wife and I are going our separate ways so I gave it a try after reading a LOT of material on the subject here and in other places.

First off, taking hormones is VERY risky and should only be done under a doctor's supervision. That disclaimer out of the way, I just did it anyway to see what would happen. Luckily, everything went very smoothly. Just remember that this is NOT medical advice, its merely what happened to me.

I started taking Spironolactone, 100mg in the a.m. and 100 in the p.m.. Spiro is very inexpensive and safe. I bought it without a perscription from Inhouse Pharmacy along with the Estrofem. Spiro's used as a water pill to help lower blood pressure. My body reacted to it the first 2 weeks by making me urinate all the time. As I got used to the drug and it built up in my system, I lowered the dosage to only 100mg per day which was sufficient.

That was enough to cause some noticeable changes: Lack of unwanted erections, decrease in sexual libido and my blood pressure went down further. After about a month of this, my sexual desire and thoughts stopped as well. I continued on for about 6 months.

I started taking Estrofem after the first 3 weeks of Spiro treatments. I followed the dosages recommended on one of the transsexual websites (Ann Lawrence, I think). I was taking about 6 mg (6 tablets) of Estrofem per day, along with 100mg of Spiro. Nothing happened for about 2 months except I could no longer get aroused by thinking sexual thoughts. I could barely coax a weak erection.

In the 3rd month or so, my nipples started getting tender. Lumps the size of peas were noticeable under my nipples. It was at this point, I decreased the Estrofem to about 3 mg per day to slow breast growth. Another thing I noticed was that my body odor started to change. I quit wearing deorderant because I didn't get strong smelling after sweating anymore. I noticed less hair fallout after showers. Also, my thoughts were starting to change. I am a semi pro musician and noticed that I acted differently while in my groups. I no longer just sit back and let other people handle issues. I got up and started telling things like they were and was irritated at small stuff and had no problems letting people know about it. My wife and daughters both remarked that I was acting like I was having my period or something. Little did they know, HA!

Towards the end of six months, the pea-sized lumps under my nipples turned into grape-sized lumps and were spreading out from under my nipples. A good portion of my entire breast was tender and seemed to protrude. My before and after measurements showed about a quarter to half inch increase in chest size measured around my back across my nipples. I had to be choosy about what shirts I wore because the slightest friction, cold or thought would cause my nipples to stand right up and poke out. It was like all the energy that used to be directed towards making my penis erect was now directed at making my nipples hard. My nipples tripled in size from small nubs to about the size of a pencil eraser and with the "grapes" underneath them getting hard, my nipple and whole areola would get rock-hard and poke out. Somebody was going to notice if I kept taking the meds so I stopped.

Also, that whole mechanism that made my penis hard and get tense when I masturbated to ejaculation and release was like it was gone. I could beat my penis raw and I would not get an erection NOR did I find any stimulation, mental or visual a help. The whole system was defunct. My penis was just a limp little thing to pee with, nothing more. In addition, my testicals sometimes felt really soft, shrunken and mushy. It was only temporary but happened about every day or so. That was weird.

After I stopped taking the meds, it took about 3 weeks for everything to come back to normal again. My penis works fine, my testicles are normal, my thoughts returned to male-thinking thoughts and my body odor returned. The lumps under my nipples went away but there remains a little swealling as if my breasts grew a small amount. My nipples are still almost as big and they still get hard but not near as much as during the 6th month. It's annoying because I always hit them with the edge of the soap bar while soaping-up in the shower, something I never had to worry about before.

I think if I had really wanted to keep taking the meds, I would have eventually wanted sexual reassignment surgery. My thoughts were turning that way to the point I felt happy about not having a penis and testicles and thought I could pass as a man but have a woman's body underneath. I found myself thinking this was the way it SHOULD be and wanted to have my male sex organs changed into female ones. I dreamed constantly about making love as a real woman and, of course, it made my nipples hard. I don't consider myself homosexual either. My thoughts never changed to make men more attractive and I didn't want to make love to one. I just felt right about being a woman and wondered what I would do to have sex if I went all the way! That would be a bridge to cross later, if ever. After I stopped taking the meds, I realized that the whole episode was mostly driven by my male libido and not a true need to become a woman. That will remain a fantasy as it would cause too much upheaval if I tried to do it for real.

That's the good thing about taking meds like this. You can experience it for yourself and make a decision without doing something irreversible, at least if you stop before too long.

it. It have taken Androcur on and off

for many years. If my libido goes on

overdrive, I take some, otherwise not.

While Spiro or Androcur effects are

reversible, if you add oestrogens with

that, it may lead to permanent impotence.

And I think that a man with breasts, hmm,

it is not very cute, except for transex who

as men, already have some physical harmonies

with girls. Otherwise, the body of a woman with

a manly face on top, is somewhat monstruous, and

socialy, it is an endless despear. Imagine a life with

no friends, being rejected by the whole world, can you

support this, just for the fantasy of having some

female curves ?

It would be simpler if many would accept the fact

that they prefer a guy in their bed, instead of going so

far in some sort of masquerade. I can't imagine my

person wearing boobs or developping large hips.

Just thought I would add some more interesting news. As I stated before, I stopped taking all chemicals for about 1.5 months. No more Estrofem or Spiro. I started smelling like my old self again when sweating, hair falling out more, erections all the time, desire to masterbate, etc, etc, so I decide to continue taking the rest of my Spironolactone until it was all gone.

Was wondering about just taking the Spiro and not the Estrofem because my breasts were starting to protrude a little. Thought I would get rid of most of the testosterone in my system without femanizing. Well, guess what? After a month of taking JUST Spiro, my breasts are growing again! My wife even commented the other day that I'm gonna need a bra soon because I look like I've grown to a B cup. Those hard, sore lumps are back under my nipples and my nipples are rock hard most of the time. Now I can get an erection, have a reasonable amount of ejaculation and my tits are still growing.

I think when you start the femanization process then stop, you just put a temporary hold on it. Once testosterone decreases again, the breasts start growing like nothing happened. This is very interesting. Seems like I no longer need Estrofem to feminize, if I wanted to feminize further.

In view of the recent reports that HRT in post-menopausal women causes breast cancer, I wonder if a TG would also get an incresed risk of breast cancer.

This might be a good reason not to take estrogen (or other similar drugs).

I have been on depo-provera for a bit over a year and penis no shrinkage at all. Of course my wife makes sure I get somer regular "exercise." I think it boils down to how much use it gets -- a "use it or lose it" thing. I did notice about 10% shrinkage in length of each testicle, all withiin the first few months.
