Nothing posted on the Internet is ever really private, nor is Google indexing the page a violation of anyone's privacy. It can only find publicly (meaning things you don't need a password for) available files, which most everything on the archive is. Now, if Google were posting information they had to hack to get to, that would be very bad.

n3rf, the reason you show up right away is because there are likely very very few people using that particular string of characters online, whereas 'tugon' (or 'Zoroaster,' for that matter) appears far more often, therefore burying him in 'net obscurity.

Privacy is a big issue, but security via obscurity is never a good way to go, as all these ATM manufacturers keep finding out when all the secret codes to open their ATM's come right up, because they were stupid enough to put it up on a little hidden (to a human) page somewhere and didn't think people would notice the link.

If you're really concerned about it, try an anonymous browser (which would have kept A-1 from being found). They suck if you're trying to do anything requiring authentication (like checking your bank balance) but are good for roaming around and hiding your tracks. If you don't want Google indexing your web page, there are META tags you can put in to tell it not to.
