Hey Chris! Welcome to the Archives! :) I was castrated 4 years ago after turning 21, of course I was already well through puberty at that point. But perhaps still a little closer to your age range? 🙄

I read a little distress in some of your posts, and just wanted to say you have nothing to worry about :) Testosterone supplements can make you feel and behave exactly the same as all the guys around you, and there are a wide variety of artificial testicles available from various sources. (Though I only have the details for the UK ones, as this is where I live!)

Most importantly (if I can remember the figure!) 1 in 10 couples have to adopt anyway, due to fertilty complications. I suspect you won't believe me :) But I'm going to say it anyway... you are not alone, and in no way abnormal.

What is important is to find what you really want in life. Do you feel like, (and enjoy the same things as!) the guys around you? It would be great to learn a little more about you. Feel free to talk about any things you feel you want to :)

Sorry to hear about the Felicia incident. Sometimes things are not meant to be, and I suspect it wasn't the eunuch thing, but that her heart was not in the right place. If it was, she would have loved you for who you were. (Or simply that her heart was not big enough!) Either way, it was not right at that time. And in some weird way, it's probably better you found out sooner, rather than 30 years later with a mortgage and house to think about!

Fat is something I struggle with quite a bit (I was not small, even before the cut!) Just be exceptionally careful what you eat, be sure to excercise regularly. Best advice I can offer. :)

Anyway, would love to hear more from you on whatever topic you feel like talking about! :)

Take care!

Hello chris and welcome :)

I have not been a eunuch since birth, but I was castrated at a fairly young age, 20. I am now 21, so it wasn't too long ago :)

My castration was elective.

I know we aren't exactly in the same position, but we are only a couple of years apart and we both have something in common, so I would be glad to talk to you anytime :)

I would like to echo everything thefraj has said - he's a great guy with great advice and somebody I'd definitely recommend talking to.

As for the weight, being without T certainly doesn't help. But there are skinny eunuchs - I should know because I am one of them. Some of it is genes and luck, but you can control your diet and exercise, two very important factors in your weight. Eating lots of low-fat foods while cutting back on the sugars will be good, as well as 30-60 min 3x weekly exercise that gets the heart rate up.

Welcome once more and drop me a line anytime you want to talk :)

I perhaps shouldn't be chiming in on this thread. I'm ingesting T, and I'm definitely not a teen. But I feel I must if only because it turns out I'm thin. However, I do have to watch my weight. Controlling weight is mostly a matter of balancing intake and output. While T helps, my levels are still close to the lower end. I'm not to good at managing intake, so I deal with the issue with output - off the job because I work at a desk.

I'm now on a regime where I run 40 km weekly. I commute to work and back by bike - about 25 km daily, and I do about 300 km weekly on the bike. And I'm active when not running or cycling: swim a couple of times weekly and 4 hr sessions of volleyball as well. Anything less, and I'd have to consciously diet. Running contributes the most to my successful weight management: 174 cm and 63 kg.

As Robby says, happy trails.

I'm 25 and I've been going back and forth on getting castrated. A part of me wants to, but another part is afraid to actually go through with it.

I have someone a couple states away who says he can arrange my cutting just as soon as I decide to come down and do it, and just when I think I'm ready I find myself questioning it.

I've been going through this since I was 16, and I'm still no closer to *knowing* what I really want.

Any thoughts?

What are your reasons for wanting castration?

Patthew, if you decide to go for it please, please, please, have it done by a physician and not a cutter. I think Dr. Kimmel is still doing castrations and if you've had a cancer scare it whould be a lot easier to find a doctor willing to perform the procedure.

If you're uncertain, maybe you should think about trying chemical castration first to make sure it's for you. That way you can be certain before you cross the point of no return.

Whatever you decide, PLEASE be safe and have a doctor perform the surgery.

I echo Plix's question. You need to know why you want to be castrated. You only get one chance at making this decision, so you want to get it right. If you are questioning doing it, it's not the right thing for you to do at this time. You need to know what you are going to do with your life and see if there is room for castration in it. I know there are a lot of alureing aspects to castration, but don't get caught up in the fantasy of it. Taylor is right in suggesting you take a test drive using the chemical method. At least it will give you the feel without the permanence. Steve

To be honest, it's mostly sexual. The idea of having no testicles, and feeling/seeing my empty scrotum, is extremely arousing. I realize that in order to maintain any sexual ability after being castrated, I would need to take HRT, but that doesn't really bother me.

It also goes along with my submissive tendencies. I like the idea of being someone's eunuch, being the guy with no balls in a couple. It would be a very obvious mark of my "status" and I like that.

What you are telling us, does not totally go along with your profile. I looked. Since you consider yourself Gay, I guess you have no desire to father childern. So that is of no concern. From what you say here, you seem to have a sexual fantasy about castration. That in itself is not a good reason. If your testicles a producing the proper amount of testosterone, you can't beat what your body makes. Although HRT works for sexual performance, it's not delivered at a constant rate that your body does. I'm on 300 mg. depo-testosterone every three weeks now. I just changed from every 4 weeks, today. At 4 weeks, the last week, I was feeling a little tired. The doseage you recieve is experimental until you get it right. You also need to consider that it is not legal to get testosterone in the US without a prescription, so you need to find a doctor that is willing to work with you.

Here you say the empty scrotum look has an alure to you, but in your profile you mention that you desire nullification. With that you don't need HRT to achieve what you don't have the equipment for. If you don't take HRT there are many other side effects you will have to deal with. Read the post here on the effects of castration. read all you can here. There have been many here that were or are in the same boat your in. Learn from their mistakes and their victories. There are many caring people here that are willing to advise you, but the bottom line is, the decision is yours. Don't make it without all the info you can get. Good luck, Steve
