Great Pic!

Wow! Thanks for putting on one of the best castration pics ever on the home page. I saw that device in an encyclopedia years ago and it sparked my imagination to no end.

The description says that the penis was pulled through the top end there with the round opening clamps, then the scrotem was pulled through the bottom two clamps, with the clamps securing the skin behind the scrotem. With all the subject's equipment secure, all it took was a slice from a knife to make a nice new eunuch. I think this device was used, many times, on young boys to turn them into eunuchs. The Romans were renound for their medical practices, and all in all, I think this method did indeed work in reducing the death rate of those who underwent the cut. After all, it was in the best interest of the slave dealer to maximize his profits. Oh! how I would have liked to witness a young male cliped in this device!
