Any suitable doctors in the St. Louis, MO or Paducah, KY area? I don't like Philadelphia - too much violent crime for one thing....

Finding a doctor to do an elective orchiectomy is getting harder every year as the doctors doing it are retiring.
Your best chance anymore is to damage your testicles with a burdizzo then urologists dont have a problem removing them.
If you are lucky and the burdizzo is applied properly you may also get castrated.
Otherwise your only choice is the doctor in philadelphia and if you want to get a shrink letter the doctor in florida or colorado.

Damaging your testes or any other part of yourself in hopes that a doctor will finish the job is not what we like to encourage anyone to do. Be more careful with yourself. Permanent pain or injury is nothing to take lightly. --FLO--

Kangan/Jamies,
The part of Philadelphia where Dr. Kimmel works is pretty nice. It's not in some drug infested alley or high crime zone. I don't know of any urologists in Houston or Texas, you may need to go through a Psych to get a letter first. I do know that some eunuchs went to Mexico for castration and stated that all they had to do was ask for it, plus it was cheap. I'll check around and get more info if you are interested. Hash

Almost all urologists have ample experience doing orchiectomies. Removal of one or both testicles is common enough for a variety of reasons treatment for prostate cancer being the most common.
However, with very few exceptions (e.g., Dr. Kimmel), you would need to work hard to convince one that your reasons for wanting an elective or voluntary castration were valid. There is good reason that all doctors fear malpractice suits and are very cautious.
If you spend some time reading the Archive, you will find accounts by a number of members about the steps that they (and their wives, in most cases) took to convince a urologist to perform the surgery. It has been done, but takes some planning. I have even talked with a couple who managed to get the surgery covered under their medical insurance.

I'd say that finding a good doctor or other medical practitioner is a critical area of concern to all of us wannabees.
You can walk into just about any plastic surgery clinic and get a body mod like a nose job or breast enhancement or whatever, with no problem except the expense of doing so. Why is it that you can't get a simple office procedure like orchiectomy done without all sorts of hassle?
As for Mexico, I'd have to say the crime rate is considerably higher than Philadelphia. I want a local doctor, so I can get home before the pain killers wear off, and then recover in my own bed.
As for convincing a shrink to give you a letter, that would also be difficult. The shrink would insist on multiple sessions at big $$$ each time... with no certainty that he would ever give you a letter of recommendation. Posing as a TG would also be time consuming and even more complicated.
Deliberately damaging yourself would require an embarrassing trip to an Emergency Room, and risk being committed to a mental facility for observation.
Somebody must have a solution for this.

You are running up against the age old problem that face those who want to be castrated. It is not an easy process, which is why so many of us have used Dr. Kimmel. But even still, don't try the elastrator or burdizzo, you might end up in the hospital. Some have done that out of desperation, but it can be quite embarrassing & costly.
You could try several female urologists, stating why you want your testicles removed. If you can find a female urologist, you might tell her that your sex drive is impossible and you can't control it. She might start you on something to lower your sex drive, but later you might be able to convince her that it's not working and that you are afraid you might act out inappropriately. Female doctors are almost always more sympathetic and understanding. NOTE: Developing a long term relationship is beneficial in getting your urologist or surgeon to grant your wishes. You might have to spend a lot of time, persistently begging for castration before your wish is granted, but persistence does pay off. Talk with them, meet them, see if they are at all sympathetic, choose the most sympathetic one even if she turns down your request for castration initially, then keep trying. Even talking with a woman doctor about castration is somewhat fulfilling. What about trying any of these three:
Please do not list information here about anyone who has not specifically requested it, i.e., name, address, phone, etc. If someone wants that information, exchange it by email, PM, or some other means. Thanks.

Yes, and his name is Dr. Kimmel in Philadelphia.
Other than him, you gotta work it really hard (so to speak) to get anyone else to do things.
