I started taking DHEA last week. Several of the eunuchs on here have reported that it can be useful for those not taking Testosterone, making them feel less depressed and more energenic. I cannot believe the changes I am experieincing.. My energy levels and libido have soared. I am getting an amazing amount of work done. But most oddly my desire for castration is gone as well, for the first time since I entered pueberty!!. Do any other of the intact males on here have experience taking it?

As an 'intact' but non-functioning male, I'm not sure I have the answers you want. But, here goes: my experience with DHEA was not pleasant. I didn't get the increased energy levels I was hoping for. I did get some unwanted effects such as difficulty sleeping, outbursts of bad temper and such. I'm now taking Testosterone shots at two week intervals. My strength and stamina are improved but there are many undesirable effects to that too, so I can't reccommend that either (don't even talk to me about body hair!). My legs now swell up, I have to shave frequently, I smell distinctively male, sometimes my testicles hurt and I have lust I can't do much of anything about. On the other hand, your experience with DHEA sounds like you have found just the right solution for you. --FLO--

I know you wanted to hear from intact males but I did try DHEA and it was not god for me. As a eunuch the effects were aggression and very short tempered with the ones I love. I was even starting to develop a little paranoia. On the other hand I did notice some positive physical responses such as elimination of any body aches and more energy. Of course the physical benefits would not have been worth it if I continued to road rage and died in an accident or shooting. I was not fit to be around.
