Authors, submit now!

This is a call to all authors who have been waiting to submit stories to the Eunuch Archive. Please, get them ready and lined up. I expect to be able to accept new stories in the very near future.

Once that happens, there will be a slightly altered submission procedure in place. Stories will have to be submitted via email, at least for now. Unfortunately this is unavoidable at the moment, until I can have time to build something better.

If you do not wish to disclose your email address, I recommend signing up for one of the multitude of free email services that exist around the net and use that to submit your stories.

Your email addresses will not be kept, and will not be disclosed unless you specifically give permission for such to be done.

In the meantime, I am working on a way to submit stories without this requirement, but I cannot guarantee when that will be functional.

The EA is now accepting story submissions via email. for now, the address is submission@eunuch.org (ieunuch@gmail.com)

I am here, eagerly awaiting the first batch of stories. The new sections will open this Friday, Sept 1, and I hope to be able to include the first new update when it opens.

Attachments or inline. Text, would be preferable, but I have no problems with HTML. I'd prefer no Word, simply out of paranoia for virii, and the fact I cannot guarantee the translation of formatting.

Since the process to add them to the story section is pretty much entirely manual, format isn't as much of an issue right now.

I don't know what's wrong, but I can't make this work. When I go to submission@eunuch.org, I get advertisements for the Qur'an ! (I know that Islam means "Submission", but this is ridiculous.)

I can NOT get access to the submissions department of the Eunuch Archive. Am I doing something wrong ? If so, what ? Is it not operative yet ? Should I wait until September 1st ?

Correct. It is an email address. So just send the story there.

Wondeful! Thanks so much for fixing this. You guys are great. I know that it has been a long and frustrating road but know that it is appreciated. I know that some people have gotten upset about people constantly asking about when the new stories will be able to be submitted. I think that it is a compliment to the forum that there was such an interrest and response to the absence of new stories. It shows that the archive is important to people, that people value and look forward to having the stories, and that people feel strongly about the archive. While I am sure that this has been and continues to be a trying and frustrating time for the people in charge of running the site, I think that it has shown them that their work is valued and that the archive, which takes up so much time and effort to produce, is appreciated by the community. Thanks guys for making it possible to submit stories and thanks for all the work that you do behind the scenes.

It's so wonderful to be able to submit stories again that I hate to complain about anything. However, I'm finding it difficult to use some features of the New Stories index. I have tried to find out what Talk is all about, but, when I click on it I'm told to log in or create a new account. I have tried to use the same user name which I use on the message boards, but Eunuch/wiki doesn't recognize it.

As far as I can determine, there is no way to create a new account, the same window being used for Log In and Create New Account. It doesn't accept my aol screen name as a user name and doesn't allow me to create a new one.

So, I'm asking here, what is Talk (in red) all about and what does "Contribs" mean ? Are there comments on the stories ? If so, how do I access them ?

I cant give you any details, cuz it is beyond me... Not involved in that end of things. Keep in mind that this whole system is being transformed to a completely different system. and will run into many many obstacles. Many many hours of work by several folks..... I am sure others can provide more info. But please be patient as well as curious..... and supportive. Shit I get bewildered by half this stuff..... Duck, incoming....
