Well I finally have a surgery date to get my last testical removed. I had my left one removed in March, and I have a surgery date on the 7th of Sept to get the right one removed. I got my left one removed due to chronic pain in it, also it had 5 cycts in it. I was hoping to have both of them done at the same time because I had chronic pain in both of them, but my uroligist was hoping that it was "refered" pain in the right one from the left side. Well anyway it was not, so I am going under the knife for a second time. I will be glad to have my second one removed. I have had a strong desire to be rid of them for the last 20 years, and this is just what I needed to get the wife to accept of their removal. I am thinking about having my sac removed at the same time, but I need to reseach it a little more.

Welcome to the board, there are a lot of like minded people here. As to your scrotum, if your not interested in implants or later SRS, its less traumatic to have it removed at the same time as castration. That's the way I had it done and was back to work in 2 weeks. It is sure a lot more comfortable without it. There are many that have gone either way that you can read about here. Good luck, Steve

Well in one sence of the word, yes because I will no longer have any testicals. However the wife does want me on HRT, so then I will not be a eunuch. I am going to play with the HRT and prob not take any for severial months so that I can feel the calm that is reported by eunuchs. Who knows, the wife might li

ke me that way, and then I would stay that way permanantly.

Nope, not doing SRS or implants, and I am sure that it will be more comfortable. If I had my way the whole package would be removed, but at least this way 2/3 of it will be gone.

Wish you all the best and hope that everything goes well for you. Not to be the "devil's advocate," but you might want to rethink getting your scrotum removed. I did not have mine removed when I was castrated but three months later I scheduled an appointment to have it removed. However, the wife told me she did not want me to have it removed. She stated that though my testicles were gone, she likes my empty sack and wants me to get some piercings in it. Who knew? So ask your wife if she cares and see what she says. Hash

Re: removal of scrotum.

I vote that you keep it. My wife likes to play with mine, and apparently so does yours. I intend to keep my scrotum intact if I ever get around to having my testicles removed.

I have all ready asked her and she said that it did not matter, and she is going with me to the Dr.'s on Monday. We will see Monday what the Dr. says.

I didn't know if I wanted the sac removed when I was initially castrated ~7 years ago. I even went with 2 small incisions for testicle removal so there wouldn't be scars afterward.

While I think it'd be more comfortable to have it removed and that the wrinkled sac is ugly when I'm flaccid, my BF likes fondling it. He especially likes doing things with it that he could never do if the balls were present. He also appreciates the rings I've had inserted. I have 2 now and am planning on having 2 more and enlarging them. The empty sac's a great receptacle for jewelry.
