As has been mentioned before, I can see three large reasons for people dropping out of this community.

1) They've either achived their goal of becoming a eunuch, and no longer see the need to continue coming here, or have decided against it, with similar outcome.

2) They get tired of talking seriously to people who are merely here for titillation and a wank. It is incredibly frustrating to talk to someone who merely wants to jack off to your story, when you think they are serious and want to inform them about both sides of the issue. Sometimes I wish those who are typing one-handed would have the common decency to inform me of their status and intentions.

3) They find out the hard way that castration is not all that they thought it would be. If someone has had a lot of problems as a result, or it has changed their lives for the worse, they are not likely to continue coming to what may seem to be a largely pro-castration hangout. Similarly, I would not expect to find abused spouses to be a large percentage of the population on heavy BDSM websites, or those who have involuntarily lost limbs to be the main supporters of pro-amputation/amputation fetish websites.

This is actually something I feel most here should keep in mind. We do try to provide a balanced viewpoint on the pros and cons of castration. However, an unknowable number of those who might speak out against it are no longer coming here to share their views.

sometimes i think there is a tendancy to move away from the 'community' as there many guys who use the chat room, that arnt cut use it to wank, i have been using the chat room for years, i have heard evrything from the sublime to the ridiculus from a far ranging group of 'wanabee's', persistant offenders this get on my nerves, and i take a break, from the chat room and the reading the notices.

sometimes there are sensible people in the room, where you get a question answered that you cant ask your endrocringologist.

An other reason why i stay in touch with the room is, when i was first castrated i was bobbing along all hunky dory and then out of the blue this horrendous depression hit me and i though at one point i was going mad, some people i chatted to in the room supported me, and that i will always be grateful for.

So when i sit in the chat room if i get a serious enquiry from someone, and it becomes evident through there conversation that they are serious, then i feel its my duty as a castrated guy to help them in whatever way i can.

refering back to why some one never returns, there is thought that some may have found what they were looking for and it sits well with them, they may have the confidence to face what they have been fearing, and also i have to add that sometimes coming into the chat room, i sit there and think{ you see paul your not the only one, there are others too}so if people past dont contribute much, they may just stop by for that reason alone.
