breast development and lactation

Post by conniescomeout (imported) »

I have been on a lactation induction regimine for about six weeks now and the increase in breast size and areaola and nipple size is incredible. I have been on motilium (from canada) and have been pumping my breasts as per the regimine. I hope to have milk flowing soon.

Does anyone know how long this will last? I don't want to become a milk cow, but then again, what is more womanly

any thoughts

Good luck! Please keep us posted on your lactation progress! I'm sure I'm not the only woman wannabe on this board who dreams of lactating. As a result of various medications I have to take I have developed quite large breasts (to my delight) and if you succeed would seriously consider following your example. As for not wanting to be a milk cow -- why not? As you say, nothing is more womanly. Keep it up, girl!

Hi,

I have been on estrace and provera. Then I started with Motillium and WOW the milk came. But I already had good size developed breasts.

🚬 Is it possible for a man not on female hormones with normal male breasts to lactate by taking Motilium alone?

Yes, it is possible for a male to lactate while on Motillium, although you will not develop as much milk with the small amount of breast tissue. I did read an article about the use of Motillium and males lactating (although I can't find that article now).

To quote from memory: This drug was intended for digestive problems, but studies done have found it to help in breast feeding. While mostly beneficial to women wanting to lactate, some men who have taken it have also had this side effect.

🚬 Do you guys milk yourselves daily? Do you use a breast pump or will just pulling on the nipple work? It sounds like fun.

Hi,

I have to pump daily generally in the morning for about 20 minutes to empty the breasts or I will leak at work........not a good thing. You generally know when you need to run to the bathroom and express your boob
