I am just wondering, does anyone know what the price range is for the drugs that chemically castrate? And how would you go about convincing your doctor to prescribe them?

You can get Androcur as I have from inhouse drugstore. I take one a day at a cost of $1.21 a day. I am now chemically castrated. Limp!

Well $25 dollars for a 150 mg vial is not too bad. So I take one and inject it in my loin or but and I am good for a month or so ?? before having to get another one. Once a month? After 3 shots I should be done ?? e.g. $75 dollars...

Some say once a week for the first 3 weeks, other say more, some say less.

I don't know. I know I injected myself Aug 3, 2006 with the first injection. I so far am feeling no effects.

I was told it takes a few days to kick in.

I will let you know how it goes. But so far, I am not experiencing any fatigue or mood swings.
