My meaning behind this was that nobody was trying to send Brandon86 directly to a source that could reasonably perform the castration procedure. From this fact I made the conclusion that has seemed to have offended you. I am sorry to have offended anyone, but I call 'em as I see 'em.

As before, we agree to disagree. However, I mean no disrespect to you or to your lifes' path choices.

It is just at age 20 you have the rest of your life to make choices that will influence the rest of your life. There is no reason to hurry into a life-changing decision until you are sure that it is right for you and you have examined other options, as I am sure that you well know.

Otherwise, I am who I am and that's all that I am. (To quote Popeye) I might add that I make no apologies for what I am. I have been a contributer to this message board since it's inception and I have tried to mellow it out in many different areas. I feel that I have kept it from getting into some problems. I had a running e-mail message exchange with Bboy and although I never met the man I feel that I knew him. Fantasy is fantasy and life is life. People need to know the difference, don't you agree?

A-1 - no prob. I participated in this thread mainly for two reasons: 1. The issue of castration in the scriptures was of a personal interest to me and 2. I felt uneasy and disagreed in the way Brandon was treated, in the manner implying that he was determined to chop off his balls here & now, when he really made it clear that he is careful and doesn't take anything lightly - including castration. I also felt that he got about 0 "benefit of doubt" in return for being honest and putting his cards on the table. However, I see your point. I merely disagreed with your methods and ideas. I certainly trust and hope that your are not offensive or prejudiced against eunuchs and castration in general. I only wish that you could appreaciate a little bit more that younger men also can get castrated and be happy about it, along with transsexuals. It is not a prerequisite to become a woman and be happy without testosterone (contrary to someone's suggestion earlier in this thread). Castration is not an end-all in itself, but often is an important process to self-discovery and spiritual awareness for those to whom it is right (and no one can really claim whether it is right or not on behalf of others; and no one can really know for certain and without a doubt, unless the try it for themselves - ie. chemical or surgical).

As long as one is an adult, I am not too sure that age alone is factor. One should be absolutely sure, and have thought about it long and hard (pun?) for an extended period of time. One could be sure at 20, and another be not-so-sure at 60. I would be hesitant to say "go for it" to any guy, who just thought of it last night.

Of the guys I know who are castrated, the youngest was done when he was just 19, and afterward he was quite happy with having it finally done (ie, no regrets). He had wanted it for years, since around when he was 13, and even tried to do it himself a few times.

I can say, I find it sometimes sad when I read from a guy who wanted it all their life, and finally had it done at the age or 60 or more. Finally, they are happy, but regret that they could have spent their entire lives more happy if they just done it sooner.

I've only been gone for 2 days and this thing has really taken off. In matters of Christianity, I would lean towards the opinions of those who profess to be Christians. In matters of religion, all is game. As to your origional topic, I think A-1 has been brilliant and very caring about the things he has said. How much time and effort has he put into this. The guy really does care a lot, as do most of us here that take time to comment. When I had my thread going in the Deep Dark Celler, A-1 gave me credit for knowing a lot about the Bible. I don't think I hold a candle to his knowlege. I know from what you have said here that Catholicism is very important to you. I'm a Lutheran and that is important to me. All different brands of Christianity are based on someones take of the scriptures and I don't think anyone has got it 100% correct yet. Catholicism is one of the oldest brands of Christianity, but don't think it is anything like the first church. The people in the first church were basicly Jews who had accepted Jesus as there saviour and accepted him as God's son. Most of them still held to their Jewish traditions, worshiping on the Sabboth, Saturday, and then worshiping as Christians on Sunday. Sorry if I'm ranbling, I'm trying to play catch up. All I'm trying to say here is we should be Christians first and follow God's word and not get caught up in the policies of what ever brand of Christianity we were born into or have chosen to follow. Most of us here, that have been castrated have lived long enough to expierence the wonderful things God has given us a chance to sample. Even though I have Dysphoria, I would not have wanted to miss out on having a family. As someone here said, we can't speak for each other and I don't think any of us here thinks we can. See, I just did it in that simple statement. I do think, as a whole, we all have a good concept of what castration means. It is the final cut. You said God would guide you. He uses many vehicles to express his thoughts. Maybe He is using us here at EA as His voice. Listen to A-1 and live a little. Try to expierance the other half of humanity. They can be wonderful. "Seek and you shall find." While you are seeking, pray a lot. That's what got me my wife.

As to your thinking of leaving, don't. You would be missed, even after such a short time. I had also thought of leaving after getting exasperated with some of the comments made, but you can't give up because someone has a different view as yours. That's what makes us who we are. It would be boring if we were all the same. Some of us are too passionate about what we believe and want others to see it our way. There are many good minds here and we all have something to share and we learn from each other.

The tragedy is when you are sure at 20 but not sure at 25, or 30 or 40 or even 60.
