...a doctor wouldn't hesitate to remove it. That's how it feels to me. They seem so out of place. But because they all love their own balls so fucking much they can't conceieve of why I hate mine. I want them gone so bad but can't find anyone to do it. None of the doctors in my home town will even listen to me. I'm getting desperate. Well, that's not true. I've been desperate for years. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone knows anyone, other than the few doctors that get their names mentioned all the time on the net ( i. e. kimmel, reed, etc.) that would be able and willing to do my surgery? Or maybe just some healthcare professional that might be understanding and willing to help me find someone.

Well, maybe it's not that they won't listen, maybe it is that you are not saying what they need to hear.

it has nothing to do with education. I suppose it has something to do with their careers and perhaps that's understandable. I guess if all I wanted was collogen or botox or any other chemical bullshit injected into me then it wouldn't be a problem. But I also live in the midwest, where ideas like voluntary castration aren't exactly commonplace. But that's still a copout for the doctors. the truth is I don't care if they understand. Its my fucking body and they should do the surgery simply because I want it. Again, if i wanted to I could inject god knows what shit into me for no other reason than vanity, but taking away somethings that cause me unbelievable emotional pain is out of the question and that just makes the pain worse. I'm just so frustrated that i can't find a healthcare professional that will help me.

. I think it has a great deal to do with your education. I suggest that you act on A-1's excellent advice instead of rejecting it out of hand. Research the matter on this site and elsewhere. Find out from others' experience what the consequences of castration are likely to be. Otherwise you are likely to discover from your own experience that it is not what you thought you wanted.

Secondly, and more on point, I've been researching the subject for years, have read a great deal on this site and others and thought about the issue nearly every day for most of my life. I came here under the impression that the people on this board might understand my dilema. Perhaps I was wrong.

In your profile, you mention that you are transgender. Is it your wish to eventually go the SRS route? If so, you need to keep your penis and scrotum for later surgeries. You also mention penectomy and the smooth look. What are you trying to go for? Do you want to become female or a nullified male? You might do some research in the TS sites like Susans Place www.susans.org. for more resources. Being in the mid-west, you may have to travel to get what you want. If you are indeed transgender, you have a reason for castration, but you should try chemical castration first. You might be able to get a doctor to help with that. Then they will know you are serious. Or you can get the meds on-line, but you should be monitored. I have used depo-provera. If you don't mind self injecting, it works well. Check out my thread in the surgical castration section " Is Kimmel the best way to go?" to see what I went through and there are many others you should read also. Are there any gender clinics in your area? That is also a good place to start. They can help you find a doctor. You need to find a doctor that deals with transgender people but they will require you to get a letter from a therapist before you are castrated. Any good, caring doctor requires this. It's not only for his protection, but yours also. Ask, seek and you shall find. Hope this helps and let us know your progress. If all else fails, there is Dr. Kimmel. You sound like you are trolling to me.

You came here for advice, you got advice. I know several successful transgendered people and even more castrates who have made their way to their heart's desires. If you don't want to do it the right way then maybe you don't want to do it at all.

Whatever the case, don't come around here looking for cutters because there ain't any. There are doctors available who will do this if you go about seeking it in the proper manner.

Don't get pissed because we are not telling you what you want to hear. There IS NO EASY WAY to get what you ask for without risking your life in the process. If you are suicidial enough to try something stupid then you must get your suicidial tendancies under control BEFORE you seek modification of any sort.

We are here to help you find ways to get what you want. We are NOT here to help you accomplish the impossible.
