question on hormones

Hello all, i have been somewhat absent of the community for a while, and eunuch.org has certainly been vastly improved since i was last here!

i was surgically castrated 7 years ago, i went the first 6 months or so without hormones, but the weight gain, moodiness, and hot flashes were too much for me and i went on full maintanence testosterone (1ml q 2weeks). While i feel reasonably good, i have increased my body hair significantly, and lost hair on my head at what i think is an significant rate. i talked to my Dr. about this, and he suggest i halve the dose and go twice as often, which i have done. Things seem to be okay, but now my interest has piqued about other options, and wondered if any here might have some experience in reducing testosterone, or going with a mix of testosterone and a variant female hormone?

The three issues that really concern me are loss of libido, breast development and weight gain/muscle loss. What i am trying to achieve is less body hair, reduction in penis size.

Anyone have any thoughts? Suggestions?

Nandrolone Decanoate can legally be used for HRT in the United States. It should be considered a weak testosterone. Whether or not taking it by itself and leaving out testosterone would reduce penis size, I don't know. I know I used it by itself once and couldn't get erect very easily though, even though my sex drive wasn't all that low. It can be used with testosterone or by itself legally as HRT. Older men will sometimes be put on this hormone by itself as taking an injectable testosterone may give them too many side effects. Also, it causes no hair loss either.

Nandrolone Decanoate (deca) will make it difficult for you to have orgasms and will dry them out. It will also swamp your erections (called "deca dick"). But there is a way to get around this: Use a small amount of deca, like 0.2ml, with 1ml of testosterone cypionate. The benefit is that it prevents a lot of the side effects you get from testosterone, like hair loss, acne, gyno, prostate changes, blood pressure, water retention and more. It is the hot set-up if you can get your doctor to cooperate. Good luck.

It's good to hear from you again, Tansy. You were castrated shortly before me. Thanks for bringinging up this subject. One of the advantages of being ballless is that we can choose hormone supplementation levels. I have the same issues. And the responses thus far to your query has motivated a good discussion and elicited important information. That's the purpose of these fora.

While following the excellent advice from Testman and DocT may mitigate some of the disadvantages of androgen ingestion, I'm not sure your objective of a smaller cock can be obtained while on any level of testosterone at all. I've recently halved my own intake of testosterone - 2.5 vs 5 grams of Androgel daily.

Google "P58 apoptosis". I think you'll find some info about how P58, a protein hormone, shrinks the corpus cavernosum of the penis if directly injected. I don't know if it is safe, but I remember reading about it. It also shrinks prostate tissue and they are researching it actively.
