vesel-mas- It's articles like those 2 that serve as a true reminder of the evil and depravity of the Holocaust and the need to be ever viligant against the same ever happening again.
Thanks for the reminder.

My right orchiectomy took about 2 1/2 hours due to the orange sized abscess stuck to the testicle and fused to the scrotum. OUCH!!!

I once read where there were assembly line castrations whereas men as young as 15 were lined up on a platform that went to surg tables. They were instructed to lay on their backs and their legs were spread wide a part and were injected in the scrotum and testicles extracted quickly. The injection into the scrotum was also painful since they were also being used to see what worked on nerve blockers for pain.

I took one of our members to the surgical clinic for his bilateral orchiectomy. I was with him in preop till they took him to the operating room. I waited in the lobby. Think it was around 35 minutes I was told everything went well. I was with him again in 10 minutes. Think we walked out in about an half hour or so after I was with him again. So postop it was maybe 45 minutes.
Has been a few years but I know it did not take very long. He was not put to sleep but sediated. That reduces the postop by a few hours. Was only a few hours from the time I pick him up from home till we return to his home.
He is one happy EUNUCH today.

I'm scheduled for August 12th, I'll try to keep track of the time from lights out to recovery.

Do you get to keep them? I read that eunuchs in China were given their balls in a jar. Maybe in preservative like formaldyhyde. When they died, their balls were buried with them. Something about not going to heaven if your body wasn't intact when buried.

Don't expect the doctor that castrates you to let you have them, its just not done.
I have mine in a jar.

It took about 50 minutes for my castration which was done with a spinal block anesthetic which took longer to administer and numb me up than a local or general anesthetic would have. But the total discomfort from getting that was less than a mosquito bite on my back so it was less painful than local injections would have been and I was awake and alert unlike being asleep with the general anesthetic. My surgery started at 9:30 AM and I was home for lunch by 12:30 because it took over an hour for the spinal block to wear off so I could walk decently. The funny part was that they put me in a recovery room directly after surgery and I was thirsty and wanted a drink but they would only give me ice chips. Then I went back to my own pre/post-op room and they wanted me to eat something but I wasn't hungry. Finally I grudgingly had some soup so they would let me go.
I got to see my testicles, each in a small plastic cup before they were sent to the pathology lab. You have virtually no chance of keeping them if done in a hospital setting. But since your goal was to have them removed anyway, what do you need them for anyway after they have been removed?

There is a transsexual clinic in Lake Oswego, OR that does orchies as well as full SRS. They require counseling but for the dedicated, that's a minor worry.
I live in Vancouver, WA, about 15 miles from there. If there's anyone who will be done there, I'd like to accompany that person.
