Eunuchism with Strength?

Post by Hairless (imported) »

This has probably been addressed before, but I may have missed it. I have been contacted by one of our members who has been considering becoming nullo. This person has a job that requires quite a bit of strength. This has brought up a few questions in my mind. Does one need testosterone to maintain enough strength to perform a labor intensive job? If one is nullo, can he take enough testosterone to maintain strength without going crazy with sexual feelings or is there a way still to relieve those feelings without a penis? If one is taking testosterone, the prostste still remains active and needs drained periodicly to maintain prostate health. Can this be safely acomplished by milking the prostate or some other method? Just wondering what all the implications are in becoming nullo and being able to do ones job. I guess Thomas would be the best one to answer this, but I'm sure there are others here that have an openion on this. Thanks for any and all input, Steve

I was castrated during a time when I was performing the physical job of patient care tech/orderly. I would help orthopedic patients in and out of bed, transport patients, wrestle drunks in ER and help restrain patients with mental health issues. I was also working out at the gym with free weights. As long as I was doing the job I did not notice a loss in strength or ability. Three years after castration I moved into management and while behind a desk my strength diminished quickly.

I have had orgasms from anal intercourse and vibrators so I would think a nullo on testosterone could achieve orgasm in that way. It is a wonderful way in my humble opinion.

I too was castrated when I worked at a place that required a good deal of physical strength. And although I was still able to do my job, it did seem to become more of an effort to do those things as time went on.

I believe that if you continue to get exercise and work there should not be any problems with keeping up your strength. Due to my injury last year, and my not being able to work, it would probably be impossible for me to return to the work I was used to doing without a whole lot of training now.

Testosterone is definitely required for serious strength. It is so effective that it is banned in almost every sport. Even minor testosterone boosters are now banned as well.

Simply put a castrated guy will lose strength, even if he keeps up the same exercise regimen. This is because the process of muscle growth and repair will slow down, and you will start losing gains you made previously.

Also, eunuchs can experience a general feeling of loss of energy, which can make it more difficult to motivate oneself to exercise. Transsexuals actually have an advantage over eunuchs because they can start experiencing the benefits of estrogen, but eunuchs have no hormones promoting growth or energy.

So I think your friend has a legitimate concern.

I have been an eunuch almost 2.5 years now. I have lost muscle mass and strength. I stopped work just two months before eunuch state. I know I lost strength because my life style changed greatly. I do get upset at times when I can not lift or do something that I could do a few years ago. But some of that is because of age setting in.

Knowing the possible side effects I accepted the strength loss in advance. Would I do it over again knowning the out come?

YES I would

I've concluded for myself that a testosterone regime, combined with regular weight-training and exercise, certainly helps maintain muscular tissue. I've never had more muscle than now - 6 years following castration. Of course, we've heard that some guys undergo castration just so they can gain access to testosterone.

As to the question of whether you'd go stark, raving mad w/ testosterone supplementation and no cock, I can add that my partner and I have done some work on prostate milking, and we've discovered that this is possible without touching the cock and without an erection, although an erection usually occurs just prior to ejaculation. I met a nullo at San Francisco's leather street fair a couple of years ago - he had about a 2 cm stubb (no balls), and he was fully capable of ejaculation, either by prostate stimulation or with manual stimulation of his stubb or oral manipulation. The only thing he'd lost was the ability to fuck someone. You're correct though that this is a question best put to a nullo - with or without a stubb remnant of a cock.

Does anyone have any studies or other information about MTF on hormones and strength?

Just curious

I was loosing strength fast 4 months after castration. I was also gaining weight in the wrong places. Thighs and rear. Things leveled off when my doctor put me on a diet. I started light exercise and while my strength is nowhere it used to be I fell better and reasonably fit.

Sex is a thing of the past. Sometimes my brain gets mildly interested but there seems to be no connection to the important part. I have not had a erection strong enough to allow penetration for almost 2 years. My doctor says this is normal. Before the procedure our doctor talked with both my wife and I and she was quite frank that my ability and desire to preform sexual intercourse would disappear. The surgeon said the very same thing to both of us. They have been right so far. It took some getting used to but after a short while the effects of castration take hold and acceptance is pretty easy.

I have to always have my sexual funaction and I could not accept not having enough HRT to be as horney as I was before so things are back to nomral, however I have heard of some guys use progesterone or no hormons even estrogen for the TG's and be happy.

It just depends on if you loose your testicuales or fucntion because you want to or it gets done to you in a fight or an event you did not want to happen how it would feel if you are a dmoniate male.

I'm not a nullo but i am a eunuch. i did not have much strength before surgery or after. over the last few months this has kinda gotten to me. I want to have a little strength & at times i feel like i have zero. Being too broke to join a gym i do sit-ups and push-ups in my room every other day. this helps me to feel like i am doing something strengthening. regardless of if it will or wont bulk me up i feel more energized and happy when I'm threw "working out".

I also walk all the time & feel good about it. I am sure if i just sat all day things would be different.

i agree with "splitDik" about trans on HRT having a benefit. i am on HRT & have been now for some time. without it i was even weaker than i am now. Plus i seem to still have a low sex-drive. I am happy to still have sexual feelings.

Not sure if this is all on topic but whatever...
