I called Medicare, my health insurance company, and a counseling group. none of them would cover me for BP meds or Insulin for one month. Oh well, I tried.

Call emergency assistance with the local or county welfare offices

Try your local (county, regional) diabetes support group. American Diabetes Association or such like. --FLO--

I hope you can hold on until Monday. I just dropped something in the mail to you. No much, but a bit to help. Watch to make sure your neighbor in the front house don't hold on to your mail.

Catholic Social Services can also help. Hell you look like a monk anyway.

I'd be an odd-looking monk as I only sport half a moustache. I kept the left side shaved because the hair aggravates the Shingles. I'll call Catholic Social Services right now.

I called the county, city, diabetes association, Medi-care, and other organizations. None could cover one vial of insulin. They all had programs to help cover some of the cost but it took weeks to set up.

Perhaps, Mr. Wolf, you should go ahead to set up one of the programs to help your cost of regular insulin supplies. --FLO--

Thanks to a recent windfall, I have my BP meds, Insulin, my saline nose spray and a sack of potatoes.
