I picked up my new glasses. They are better than my old ones but I still have trouble seeing the screen. The optometrist wants me to measure the distance from my eyes to the computer screen and they'll order me some trifocals.

I finally have the trifocals and I can see my screen much better now.
On a different note, my computer was infected with ad-ware but EunuKen helped me by installing an anti-adware program. Now my computer is both ad-free and faster.

I called my landlord and demanded that he remove my swamp cooler and install refrigerated AC. I told him I couldn't survive many more hot days. It was 93 F. yesterday and my apartment felt like an oven. I even told him I'd split the cost with him. If he doesn't do it soon I'll pay for it all myself. I guess 93 degree heat and 68 year olds don't go together.

Ballard air conditioning just left. The workman cleaned out the cooler, added new hoses, installed three new pads and a new pump. I'm actually getting cool air out of my swamp cooler. The bill was $176.00 but now I can survive the summer

Mr. Wolf, you should come visit here in winter. It regularly gets to -20F and I seem to remember -34F a few years ago. --FLO--
