It is easy to tell us apart, I have more hair and less testicles. --FLO--

I called Lilac today and we talked for about 40 minutes. Her foot is improving but she still can't walk on it.

My swamp cooler died a week ago. My landlord said he'd fix it but it's getting warmer and I need cool air. If he hasn't called me by tomorrow, I'll call a repairman and pay to have it fixed myself.

If you pay for repairs ask your landlord for reimbursement. The worst that can happen is he will say no. You may want to call him first to tell him you plan to have it repaired and that you would then need to be repaid. --FLO--

An overpriced swamp cooler repair guy came out to tell me it would cost $360 to replace fan belt, motor, etc. He's still working on it.

Since I have no idea what repairs cost, anybody know how badly I got ripped off?

Are you still on the list for a senior apartment. They would have a maintenance department where they would fix it for you as part of their services?

No, not on the list any longer. I'm not sure if where I am is not better. Here I pay $550 rent but utilities are free. At a senior place I'd pay $260 for rent but would have to pay my own gas, water, electricity and cable.

I just walked out of the hospital after being there two days and nights. They say I had a mini-stroke one they call a T.I.A. They did a myriad of tests cat scans, MRI, blood work, etc.

The MRI ook over an hour. Halfway through I had a severe panic attack and had to quit. I finished it only after they fed me Atavan.

They only kept you for two days? Are they/you going in for followup?

The doctors are studying the results of my MRI's to determine the cause. I was told to take one aspirin from now on everyday of my life. By the way, hospital food still SUCKS.
