It's only 90 degrees and Liz and her friend are sitting on my front porch. They said they needed a break from walking in the heat :(

I can now see the advantages of having the front yard fenced in by wrought iron.

I looked at a one-bedroom apartment today: tiny living room, small kitchen (stove only), bath, bedroom: $575 a month and they pay water and trash. By the time I payed for phone, internet and electricity, there's not enough left over for food :(

I also picked up an application for a PO box.

Perhaps I am seriously mistaken, yet I cannot so far find any reason why you are not qualified for housing assistance, as, for example, with Section 8 housing.

On checking with the San Bernardino County government web sites, there does appear to be suitable housing assistance available, and the above site suggests to me that there may not be much of any delay.

I find myself wondering whether you have thoroughly checked with your county or city housing authority...

Time Warner called today and wanted money. I gave the bastards $195 (mostly past due) though my regular bill for Cable, Phone and Internet is $180.

It pisses me off that Time Warner is offering all three to new customers for only $99.

How much for the internet, tv and phone????? 🆘🙋:-\😡

My total utilities cost less... o_O

Are you sure, that this is the normal price and there are no cheaper options?

After checking out several apartments, I have come to the sad conclusion that the first one I looked at was the least expensive. That one is $575 a month plus $300 security deposit. Which means, once I pay electricity, phone and internet, I'll need to start dipping into the house sale money for food, sadly.
