Slammr - Today Monty was ranting/raving in my front yard when an ambulance arrived to transport him to Ward B in the County Hospital (the psych ward).
I hope he gets the help he desperately needs.
Unfortunately, they released him 30 minutes ago. He's back on my front porch raving. I could use a nap but I don't dare, he'd jimmy my backdoor and let himself in.

Maybe you could "foster parent" a Rottweiler for a while.

The cleanup crew cleared away about half of the junk so far. They advised me to contact my realtor to speed him up on finding me a place to live. They'll want to show off the house without me or the cats here.

My lawyer wanted to know what I wished to save from the house so I made a short list: Computer, Backup HD, Wheelchair, Long Table, Plastic drawers, bed, pillows, blankets, clothes, Mini-fridge, Microwave, Skillet, Two Fans, Cats (2-4)

Shortly after returning from JITB today, I found Monty in Liz's old bedroom sleeping. About that time, my realtor called and I told him. He said to give Monty an ultimatium to be out of the house by 6:00 pm, which I did. Realtor said if Monty is still there by 6 pm, to call the police on him and report him as an intruder.
On the minus side, it's 93 &&%$#@ degrees here. On the plus side, I just talked to Monty who said, "I'll be out before 6pm."

Monty left by 6:07 pm only after I threatened to hurt his dog. Sheesh.

I slept in till 9:30 this morning to find Monty and his dog sleeping on my front porch. Monty was harassing the cleanup crew and they are afraid of his dog. I called the police and asked them to remove both the transient and his dog and I said I would press charges. I'll update after the police arrive.
Monty and dog left before police arrived.
Realtor says I'll be lucky to get $10,000 since the house is in such poor condition overall. *sigh*

Gawd, I hate confrontation. Liz was just 'demanding' the right to enter to get the rest of her stuff. I said, "I'm not letting anybody in but, I'll bring out your stuff to you."
That wasn't good enough for her. She threatened to call the police. I said, "call the police."
I'm a nervous wreck and I'm shaking all over.

I have to wonder if it would be easier to just move your possessions out and turn the deed and all the bills over to Monty and Liz. Let them have all the debts and the property and start a new clean life for yourself. It is only a thought. It might be far easier on your nerves.
