Early this morning I had my first panic attack in three plus years. When I came out of my nine day stay at the hospital back when I stupidly burned all the flesh off my right arm, I was hit with panic attacks for months. Those attacks were vicious as they lasted 12 plus hours every damn day. They didn't end till my doctor put me on a drug called Paxil.

It was 32 last night. Somehow, I don't think I could adjust to -32 in Wisconsin or Minnesota.

I had an appointment with my doctora today at 9:30 am. The bus got me to the hospital at 9:00 am. From there I got directions to her office. It was two miles north of where I was and no bus service headed up that way.
I decided my leg with the psiatic nerve wasn't able to walk two miles uphill.

Mac, I learned of a job opening that employs exclusively elder men. Health care is great and the accomodations are superb. Have you thought about applying to be Pope?
Seriously I wish things warm up for you soon.

Well, I'm definitely wise enough to be Pope and I have the correct stand on abortion and birth control. Now, if I was only Roman Catholic.
By the way, I called my doctor and my next appointment is April 11th at 3:30 pm.

I called Edison today to postpone the inevitable. I owe $266. I have $220 left for electricity and food. I made a three part payment arrangement and am supposed to give them $90 next week. Then other payments in March and April.

I finally had a death in my family - yes, my heating blanket died. There will be no funeral; I'm sleeping on the corpse

Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring you a new one.

Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
This morning I awoke to discover I was a bit chilly. I reached over to click on my space heater and it didn't come on. I got up and flipped on the light switch to discover it didn't work. I dressed and went through the house and saw that the power was off. I knew I had paid the bill so I went to see my neighbors. They told me the power had gone out and on again three or four times. Within 30 minutes, the power returned.
I'd hate to imagine those folks back east when the power went out for like a week or more. If they didn't have gas heating or a fireplace, they might have frozen to death.
