I just took a dose of my two new pain meds. I'm hoping they kick in soon so I can walk to that gourmet restaurant, JITB, for my morning cheeseburger.

Motrin is just ibuprofen, It might give you some relief of inflammation. Gabapentin and Lyrica are often used to treat neural pain. They are effective only occasionally - hopefully it works for you. Been there, done that, still doing it, get used to it.

Yup, hospital nurse called me back today to check up on me :) She said condition could last 6 months. Told me to call my family doctor tomorrow.

Normally, I get a ride from a friend to avoid long walks. Today however, my friend was unavailable so I had to walk about a mile to the grocery store for cat fud and down and back to get my pipe tobacco. ouch ouch ouch, and in case you missed it, ouch :)

By the way, my spelling of cat fud was intentional. It refers to a hilarious Far Side one panel; cartoon.

Merry Christmas to you ole Wolfie.. I wish you the best. And feel sorry for you that you have so little. Hope you can go to a Soup Kitchen tomorrow and have a wholesome meal.
