I'm not sure I want to claim Moi as my first-born. Besides, the age difference is off. Moi is 64 today, I'm 65

My house is very quiet today: I spread the rumor that the police called and asked me if I would allow them to monitor my phone for drug related calls. I said I told the police, "yes."

Within 10 minutes of the rumor, everybody left on errands.

If only the police would really call and ask me and ask :)

Don't know about calf. but here if drug activity is going on in a house such as dealing the house can be confiscated and sold at auction. Be careful.

From what the police told me, Jeanette bought her 'hit' at the local donut shop and took it before she got home. I've searched their room when they're not here and found nothing.

Wow do I feel for you Mac.

I've had some horrendous roomies in the past, but I can't begin to imagine having the kind of crap you have going on inside my house.

I have a tenant in a separated area of the house but I don't think I could share my personal living space again. At least, not with somebody other than a lover/mate sorta thing.

Good luck man. I really hope it's not as scary a situation as it seems to me after a quick read-through.

While our last attempt to solve this problem failed, I am willing to give it another go. In the state of California a tenant may be evicted if the reason for the eviction is to provide housing for a relative.

Now I understand that these people are not tenants but are squatters. But if we cant beat them fair and square, then we can beat them like this: I am willing show up at your place posing as your cousin, and you and I will have a grand reunion, catch up, and I will ask you if I can stay with you since I have just come back from 15 years overseas. You will explain to me aboout your "guests" and we will inform them that they have 30 days to move out. Then the next week I will show up with some boxes and other stuff to reinforce the contention that I am moving in.

I'll do the same thing the following week, and then We'll force them out on the 30 day mark...

What do you think?

I thank you for the generous offer Lurker. However, I'm too damn honest to be able to pull off a clever ruse. My acting ability is somewhere between nil and zilch.

I'm one of those rare individuals who tells the truth the majority of the time. I've never lied to potential employers, policemen and I absolutely refused to lie to my students.

I'm afraid I'm going to need to accomplish my goal within the law and without deception.

I do, however, appreciate the offer :)
