Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
I was up all night researching and didn't hit the bed till around 7:30 am. About 11:30 am I was awoken by a large argument. ,Apparently, Ruben, a workman friend of Liz, had caught Jeanette giving blow-jobs in her mom's bedroom. He screamed at her and was calling Liz by phone. Liz had apparently left earlier.
Anyways, Jeanette and Ruben were arguing and screaming next to my computer, causing me to panic. I ordered them both out of my room. As I was surveying the damage, I found that my lamp was broken and my new phone was torn away from the cord and missing.
So, now I'm without a phone again.
I'd scream and curse too if I thought it would do any good.

Today, something different occurred. Liz came into my den and begged for a sandwich and a Coke. Being the kind of guy I am, I said "NO." I doubt I have any extra food to last me till my next check, and, since it's my house and I'm a 65 year old guy, I'm not sharing with freeloaders.
Besides, I saw her later on this afternoon drinking a quart of beer. I assume she prefers beer to food.
On the water bill scene, the City Water Company contacted me today and said my water will be shut off anytime after 5:00 pm Friday night, if I don't pay the past due amount of $65.06. The total water bill is $398.92. (two plus months). Will I pay it? Well, I have $3.91 in my checking account so........

You need to marry a rich woman.
Certainly one with low tastes.

Nearly $200/ month just for water. Something doesn't sound right there. Now that you have title to the property would it be possible to sell it, perhaps for enough to buy a condo of an appropriate size for you minus your menagerie. Your water and power bills seem way too high for one person on your income to support.

I do have two leaks: (1) the tub faucet leaks constantly (2) as does the toilet. After I flush, the little lid doesn't always come down and seal off the water.
Out of my $3.91, I invested $2.99 in twenty pounds of ice. A good investment considering the average day here has been 105 F. UGH

I have to say, I no longer have a current problem with two water leaks. That constant drip, drip, drip in the bathroom, next to my computer room, was driving me bonkers.
Then again, the silence of the drips is probably caused by the fact the city came by one day early and shut off my water.
Without a source of water, I'm dreading the coming days of 105F. temperatures.
On the plus side, I have food till payday, electricity and Internet
Hopefully, the guy who broke my phone replaces it as he promised. I'll bide my time and see.

Young 17 year old, innocent, sweet Jeanette *cough*, returned today after being gone for two days. Within 30 minutes she was having a crying-temper tantrum and hitting her mother. Liz slapped her across the face and within 20 minutes it was quiet.
I don't recall my childhood being that insane, then again, I had two caring parents.
