No need for that drastic a step. Besides, a friend that has owed me for ages paid up today and bought me one pound of pipe tobacco - Happiness hath returned to Mudville.

I quit smoking 10 years ago but I still love the smell of tobacco, always have, not the smoke but tobacco.

You should quit Mac, its a health issue and the cost has gone out of site. I was with Gem yesterday when he stopped at a smoke shop to get a can of his brand, $35 and he will smoke 2 to 3 cans of the stuff a month. An extra $100 a month is a lot of food, internet, phone, and cable TV. One or two tanks of gas.

I know the health risk but tobacco is the cheapest sedative I have to deal with the stress I have living with and near me everyday.

On the plus side, I don't inhale and never have.

I fully realize tobacco may kill me someday assuming my boarders don't murder me in my sleep long before then - heh heh

Have you ever thought of selling your house and moving to an area that is cheaper even if you rent?

Actually, yes. I'm 'still' waiting on my @#&^%$ attorney to get the judge to put the house in my name. He's trying to get it done without the standard $300 fee.

Monty collects shopping carts to fill with junk. This morning he had four of them in my driveway. I just now took two of them and walked them several blocks away.

To reward myself, I walked to JITB and had a big breakfast consisting of a burger and six tacos. Total cost $4.00 :)

I arose at 5:15 am this morning and made it to the bus stop by 6:00*am just in time to catch the bus. I made it to the hospital about 7:00 am and checked in with the outpatient blood work center. I had an hour wait so I spent the time pacing the hallways. They called in about 8 am and I was though by 8:05 am. I caught the bus and went home.

I find out on D-Day when the results of six tests were.

Better, I suppose, than General Montgomery using one of his hair-brained ideas like Operation Market Garden on my colon 😄

Wasn't he in full retreat? No wait, he like to parade around and tell everybody who he was and how great he was. If he had been in charge we would still be fighting.
