Well, I was planning to take a bus ride over to the big hospital for some required lab work but.......

Due to some huge utility bills this month, my trip will need to be put off till May. Chit happens.

I found a good quote today:

“A laborer is one who makes something with his hands. A craftsperson is one who makes something with his hands and mind. An artist is one who makes something with his hands, mind and heart.”

I was researching Hernando De Soto and the source mentioned he took artisans and craftsmen with him to La Florida.

I called Edison and arranged payments. I gave them $150 for May as a down-payment. I'm happy.

woo hoo I now have a new yard ornament, well, sorta.

THis morning I heard a loud cracking sound and went out my front door to check it out. My large oak tree split almost in half and crashed in the front yard. The debris covers about half of my front yard. THe only damage was my cheapo $35 driveway fence.

Hopefully, someone comes by wanting firewood. They can have all they want.
