I have 4 rabbits now so have some basis to argue with River on this. Every morning, each gets a piece of bread. They all look forward to this and generally will finish it before doing anything else. The carbs give them energy to stay warm. They do get apples, bananas, pears, beans, lettuce, carrots, which is OK for us humans but they also eat alfalfa hay, rabbit pellets and dried corn on the cob which I would would not choose to eat myself given any alternatives to starving. Rabbits also have an interesting habit of eating some of their own waste. And I would not recommend that you eat any rabbit poop but if you must, I certainly have plenty if you want to try it.

That was in reference to eating less fat and more greens. I know about rabbits, we raised them at one time, cute little critters. New Zealand Whites, tastes just like chicken. Also raised Rex. Belonged to the local Warren group, rabbit shows.

Have you ever tried to race a rabbit eating a carrot?

Last night I pulled a real lulu.

Liz found me an open end table for my couch which wasn't bug infested. My old one was enclosed. She put the old table in the dining room. Last night as I got up to 'drain the lizard', I ran into the end table with my kneecap - OUCH

Thats the same kneecap I broke into several pieces in 1982.

Liz's sixteen year old daughter, Jeanette, has been missing for almost three days now. She's called here twice but was in tears and hung up suddenly. Tomorrow morning, Liz will call the cops and report her missing.

Well, Liz decided NOT to call authorities. Jeanette was spotted a several blocks away so her adult friends drove up to look for her.

Another reason Liz didn't call was the belief than her daughter would be taken to juvenile hall as a runaway.

They have a tendancy to keep runaways and stick them in a supervised environment. Which isn't always good.
