I wish I could afford a better attorney. My house guests are becoming unbearable.

• They keep late hours hence my front door is often unlocked.

• They invite people in my house without asking and often have them overnight in their front bedroom.

• They invite people in my house with whom I've had trouble with in the past.

• Since they've been here, I've lost a garage, had two broken windows, two bathroom doors which no longer lock, and a back door which is constantly broken into by Monty late at night.

Filing eviction papers could take months or so I've heard. Waiting for those months would mean undue mental hardship on me from them.

Is there an easier way out?

Does eviction imply they are paying rent?

Honestly, I don't know. The eviction process is a long, hard ordeal in Calif. The manager next door gave an eviction notice to the people in the second apartment in November and they haven't moved out yet.

My house guests pay neither rent nor utilities but they cover their own food thank gawd.

When Monty was beaten so badly and lost his spleen, I had lent him mom's old wheelchair to help him get around. The night before last, he left it outside and by morning it had been stolen, naturally. Chit happens.

Are there "elder abuse" laws in california?

Go talk to the police. I know they probably don't

give a rats ass, but you might stumble across a

young naive one who still wants to help people.

I knew I forgot to do something last month. My electric bill came today and I owed $75. I started to write out a check and then suddenly realized I'd only have $20 left for food till February. That's too tight even for my mouse diet.

I called Edison and they said "pay us next month." I'll owe about $175 by then but I won't have to pay this month and I now have money for my gourmet meals at Jack-in-the-Box

First the boring stuff:

I tossed and turned last night from midnight till 2:00 am. I finally got up at 2 and went online till 9:00 am. When I first went online, both the EA and BME were offline....odd.

Now, the fun stuff:

Liz's 15 year old daughter, Jeanette, moved out of my house today into Monty's motor home in the driveway. I somehow don't think she's going to relish his singing, drumming, his meager diet, the winter cold, his 10:00 pm curfew, etc.

I think I'll wait till Liz is gone to make an anonymous to the local school board asking them if they are aware that there is a 15 year girl living here who has NOT attended school in the past year. She needs to continue her education.

My home life just became more complicated. Liz's 22 yr old son has moved in. Nobody asked me if he could move here nor would I have consented. He has caused damage to my home in the past and I want him gone.

I wrote to my attorney to ask how I can get rid of him.

Tonight is typical for the MacWolf house: it's 1:41 am and Liz had no idea where her daughter, Jeanette, is at this hour.

Liz told me earlier that Jeanette told her brother she has been taking the drug, Esctacy

Yes, this is the 15 year old daughter. So sad.

Jeanette finally came home at 7:00 am. Fine time for a 15 year old who doesn't attend school to stay out till

So much for her mom being a nuturing parent.
