A friend is sending me money for the water bill soon :)

I've borrowed enough water from my neighbors to wash dishes, my hands and flush the commode so far :)

Strangely, I've also avoided being thrown out of my house too. Code Enforcement informed me I can be evicted from my own house if I don't have water.

Hopefully, by Wednesday or Friday I'll have water and sewage disposal.

Postscript: I just received a letter from Edison. They are demanding $213.83 by the 26th of April. I'm going to call them and (1) ask them how I can be expected to pay them more money in one month as I had already given them $530 this month. (2) to ask for an extension till May 1st when my check comes in.

Ever notice that when it rains, it pours.

Edison. They extended my bill till May 3rd, woo hoo. They also put me in a low income catagory so my electric bill will be reduced next month :)

Well, this day has improved :)

Now, if only I was wealthy like River and TheOtherSide 😄

I've spoked to the water department which is owned by the city. They don't have low income program and it seems that the friend that was going to help with my water has problems of their own and can't help after all so it looks like I'll have to wait till May 1st for water. Alas.

On the plus side, my water was turned back on - woo hoo

On the minus side: Clifford, the son of my housekeeper, came over with his girlfriend to see his mom. All was fine for an hour or so. Suddenly, there was a ruckus coming from the front bedroom. I walked in to investigate and found Clifford beating up his girlfriend using his fists on her head. I ordered Clifford to STOP. He ignored me. I threatened to call the police after which he seized my phone from me, hand his girlfriend over the head with it and then threw the phone against the wall breaking it. His girlfriend ran out of my house and down the street. Clifford ran after her.

Several minutes later I found a phone and called the police. I gave them a description of Clifford and they are searching for him now.

My life is sometimes on the brink but never boring 😄

Okay, I'm convinced: the cops in my town are BRAIN DEAD.

I called them today to let them know Clifford was in front of my house and they said, "so, who's Clifford and why should we care." The police had no record on file of any domestic violence at my house or anywhere even near my neighborhood. So, I hung up.

I told Clifford he can't enter my house.

Any of you who ever saw the old movie, Southern Comfort, might recall this tune:

This one smoothes my soul :)

When I awoke today, I found Monty on my couch asleep. I awoke him and ordered him out. I told him I didn't allow thieves in my house. It was then he admitted stealing my rifle for the sole purpose of killing me.

Strange feeling knowing someone had plotted to kill me in the past. I knew my jokes were bad but come on now :P

"the devil gets his due" heh heh heh

Several of my neighbors are ready to lynch/castrate Monty. It seems he has been caught looking in neighbors' windows to watch their daughters bathe. He was also seen exposing himself to teen girls on the street.

If the neighbors do him in, I hope they chose a place away from my street :)

You lead such an interesting life (as in the old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times.") Please be careful.
