ITS NOT A WALKER, its a roller and I only need it when the weather changes for the cold, I do use it more in the winter.

You should really have one as I know you walk around town, a person of your advanced years should never leave home without it. Oh as for women, I think they gave up on both of us years ago, well maybe gave up on you, I am not so sure that is true for me.

My ship did come in but it had been robbed by Hospitailers. The income of $1,000 a month I once lived on dried up. The nursing home seized it, finally. Now I get to live on $500 Social Security and whatever I can ring out of S.S.I.

I also applied for the Reverse Mortgage.

A few months might be tight but I'll survive.

Be careful about those reverse mortgages. Sometimes they have high charges for using them. You might be better off selling , unless money isn't the important part of it all. Some of these reverse mortgages are predatory lending in reverse for seniors, in my opinion,, again, preying on the more vulnerable people. Be careful, get a lawyer if you need one to explain it all, and make sure you don't have hidden charges.

My Social Security won't be enough to cover my utilities, food and taxes therefore I have to go after the Reverse Mortgage to make ends meet.

WOW

The Western Mom I went to was fantastic. I renewed friendships with old friends like Ken_SD, plix, Jesus, Daughter, Surf-Toad and Sam.

Plus I met new Friends: Randy, Steve, "Lilac" , ChiliWilli, Jemagirl and Brobear

and others I'm too senile to recall at the moment.

I did lots of hugging especially of Lilac, Daughter and Jema.

I've known my sister, Lilac, for several years online but I never expected to meet her in person. It was wonderful to see her, huggle her and talk with her.

I tried to hug Daughter as often as possible. On a scale of 1-10, Daughter is an 11+ on looks, personality, voice and compassion for others. Plus she has a great looking "everything."

For those who haven't met ChilliWilli, he is a handsome, muscular guy with a friendly personality. Chilli brought his adopted buddy, Cecil, with him who we all fell in love with. Cecil is a one pound chihuahua who is a cutie pie.

Over three days, we had a wine and cracker get together, a huggle festival, great meals at a local family restaurant, a pizza party at Round Table, a night at Sizzler where I got to sit next to my sis, Lilac, all night and an afternoon at the town's Street Fair where plix and I were checking out several of the interesting booths.

It was the best time I've had ever. Memories

I think that is fantastic, I knew several that were going including your little sister and everybody friend, Lilac. You are right Daughter is WOW. I wish I could have been there it would have been great being there with someone much older than I am. MacW I am so happy you had a good time, you have needed that for a long time.

I already miss Lilac, Daughter, Ken & plix, Brobear, Steve, Randy, Chilli Willi, Jesus, Sam, surf_toad, etc. It was a great weekend.

Coming home I found my dog having arithitus and a dead VCR.

I had a flash back to the WWII cartoon of the guy shooting his jeep because it was dead.

Oh, it might be a fuse. Take off the cover it should be in plane site, look and see if its still good if not you found the problem.
