I weighed myself on my medical scales and they say I weigh only 218 pounds.

Quite a difference from my plumpish normal of around 240 pounds.

Maybe, just maybe you know who got cut and did not tell us. 😄

Lurker, whatever your point was I missed it. Enlighten me.

Then again, like River, I have fewer and fewer neurons firing at our advanced age.

I was suggesting that while you may have been happy with shedding a few pounds, Bobbie killed your buzz (joy) by suggesting that all the weight was lost due to a haircut, rather than an actual improvement in your health and diet...

Aw never mind, If i gotta explain 'em I ain't as funny as I thought.

On a different note: How is Mom?

If the nursing has their way, mom will spend the rest of her life in a small room alone on a feeding tube. I have full medical conservatorship over her but the hospital won't release her to my care. Why should they? They get her income while she's there:P

Mom is slowly dying of lonliness :(

Better days? Is that when Rupert adopts me and I too can live like all the Kings of Wisconsin? 🍑👋

Round and round the Mulberry Bush:

Mom's nursing home called today to threatened me again. Hooray.

They demanded to know mom's Social Security number, the source of all her incomes and copies of her bank statements. I refused to assist them with any of that information.

Their response was to say, "If you refuse to cooperate with us, we will call Adult Protective Services on you." In my opinion, they've used the APS line just a wee bit too often.

Now I'll wait to see what blooms from the seed I sowed today.

You may want to call APS and wage a complaint that the Nursing Home is threating you.
