I can only imagine growing up with a name like Chares Lamar Bellaphonte III, I am sure it would open doors for me so much better than Jenny. after all there are million s of jenny's, but Chares Lamar Bellaphonte III that has to be a first.
any way getting back to my ex cat Jessica, not only did she fetch mice into the house she would attack any one I took home for no reason, I passed her on to a real cat lover who already had several cats.
Later I heard she has been moved on again for attacking her cats and fetching young birds into the house, All I can say is if you want a quiet life and someone offers you a cat called Jessica do not accept run as fast as yo can.

I think it is time to give up "cat talk" and let Mr. Wolf have his thread back. --FLO--

I just sent mom to hospital by ambulance. She has had a pain in her left side for several days now and trouble urinating so I figured possible kidney stones or related infection.
She has refused to eat for three days now. Maybe she was in too much discomfort to eat.
Now I'll wait for a call from the hospital in 3-6 hours to give me a prognosis. The paramedics did say they were "very" busy tonight hence it may be a while before she is seen, examined or released.

That does sound serious. Let us know. You and your mother are in my daily prayers.MacTheWolf (imported) wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2007 6:49 pm I just sent mom to hospital by ambulance. Jenny, I know that Flo said no more cat talk but, I have this cat named Rupert. He is always bringing me mice, moles, birds, bunny's, he even tried a wild turkey one day but the bird was to fast for him. Sometimes he brings them in live, then they get away in the house and I need to trap them. Most of the time I just find the bodies without the heads, crunchy on the outside with a chewy center. I have never really had a cat before and I have an allergy to some of them, long hair are OK, its tabbys that are the problem, Rupert is a tabby. I would not trade him for anything, he is just to much fun.
Now back to MacWolf, earlier in this thread he said he was younger then I was and refereed to the length of our beards as proof. Well if you notice, his beard is snow white, this comes from advanced age, mine on the other hand has some gray in it. It may or my not be true that I was there for the big bang but the only person who would know this was the staff photographer our own MacWolf, he was older then me then too.
Are we having fun yet?

I visited mom tonight but she wasn't able to talk. Nurse say she a mild+ case of pneumonia, which she had a year ago, and fluid in her throat but NOT in her lungs thank gawd.
As I was there, they were sticking a suction tube in her throat (Too much info for some I know) and sucking out the fluid. She's receiving intraveinous antibiotics.
The nurse told me to check back tomorrow.

Mac, now that your mother is in a hospital, have the doctors refer her to a nursing facility for Alzheimer's patients, and not a release to your custody. This is how I got my mother out of her apartment and into such a place. For your own sanity don't let your mother come back home to live with you! I am sure that the doctors can declare her incompetent (she's probably giving them one H*** of a time) and get her into a facility ASAP once her medical problems are solved.
As much as I loved my mother, it was the only way that I could get her transfered to a place where she could get the kind of care that she needed.Amen, amen. Take care of yourself.
