Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
Good to hear the GOOD news that Mom is home.
Please tell us if You had any squakis while taking action.
Please don't spend a cent or a dime more that some effective mice killing traps or that big cat that will have a ball taking care of the Mousey issue for sure.
Spending money under "duress" or "treaths" is not a good idea, and just keep Momy happy that is top priority.
Most regards and please report any "undesired" wibrations of the "know-it-alls"
or maybe Your firm action scared them away and let You be.
Good News -good indeed - Baby steps will do it every time. Johan-in-Washington,N3RF

Tomorrow I begin kibbutzing her about getting a loan to get house repaired and tented.
Well, I had liberty for 12 days. And now I've seen the Promise Land. I may not get there with you but someday we as a people will get to the Promised Land.

I love my mother--just talked to her on the telephone--but we could not live together! I would drive her up the wall with my clutter.

Yes I think You will find that the MOUSE problem is so INSIGNIFICANT that it will go Away - all by itself - the Mouse will move to a better place - but You got to speak to them - clearly and they will listen - and Obey. What is it called now-days: to be a "MOUSE WISPERER" ?? Your Cat will help You put the message to them . Johan-in-Washington, N3RF

What is a step-an-fetched ??
Have the Coats stopped bugging?? Is the Cat on the job ?? Does You mom like Cats ??
Is she happy now ?? So many questions.
Please don't spend more than $20 dollars on traps or whatever.
Tenting a house is not good, nor safe and is a scam to get Your money . . Am I right ??? Please tell all when back to "normal" etc.
Regards. Johan-in-Washington, N3RF

Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
I usually sleep in till 9:00am. Today I was up at 7:30am to start cleaning. A social worker from Office on Aging is due here at 9:00am to check on my cleaning progress.
It's interesting: if I lived alone, the city-county could care less how messy my house was but since my mom is in her early 90's, the house has to be cleaner. Oh well, back to housework.

Dear Mac - I hope You told that government "worker" to bring his own cleaning tools and then put him/her to work for at least an hour. They wear out easy - sitting behind a desk all day.
Dear A-1 - Very interesting about movie greats. Yes I am a lot older / younger and my "mantra/poem" goes like this : I am 150 going on 200; I was born in 29 and feel like 25;
so what else do You want to know ??" end of poem/mantra. To stay young You have to repeat this mantra 1100 times a day or whatever it takes to "think Young" etc.
I filed this 4 liner in a Poem Contest once and I have used it dilligently ever since.
Looks - well that Pinup is nice isn't it --- laughing loud. Regards Johan-in-Washington, N3RF

The Social Worker came and left satisified that my clealiness skills had vastly improved. However, he did insist on our going ahead on getting the loan to fix the back door, back window and tenting the house for vermin.
That what mom and I will be doing tomorrow....obtaining a loan from $3,000 to $5,000.

Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
Insisting is one thing and the word advise and recomending is also implied. Maybe the door can be repaired with simple nail+hammer and some sand paper and paint, and the window the same. The "vermin" or little Mousis or the Big Rat ( if there are any ??) can be handled real low cost with a 1/2 dozen traps and some Cheese or that nice Citty on Loan from the Pet Place. Think Low Cost and You wont need to "borrow" big money.
If the "insistener" becomes unruly afterwards You can say "You got advise" from Washington to conserve Funds and You are looking at "Low Cost Techniques".
The Tent Idea with Toxins is a very dangerous method, and no one will admit this, so You must make it a rule to avoid TOXINS on Your own...Best wishes from JOhan N3RF
