Having recently been permantly relieved of my testicles, something's puzzling me? Do I qualify as a eunuch?
Although my desire is towards TG, or what ever the label is this week, I have silicone implants where my testicles once were and have a slow release testerone pellet fizzing away. The dictionary seems to indict that I am now a eunuch, but I don't quite seem there in spirit.
There's probably another thread hidden away somewhere, and it's probably been discussed before. As an infrequent, but interested visitor to this site, please help me with your views on who qualifies as a eunach?

Re: Am I an / a Eunuch
Good question and there may be some disagreement, especially between those of us who are using some sort of testosterone replacement therapy and those who are not. Here's what I think: I am a eunuch, I have no testicles, but I use a low dose regimen of testosterone to prevent some castration related illnesses like osteoporosis, which causes your bones to become thin and brittle. Some eunuchs use "fosomax" to replace the calcium or some other supplement. Low dose testosterone maintains/prevents memory loss, some eunuchs use herbal remedies like "ginko biloba" to maintain/prevent memory loss. Low dose testosterone does not/has not made me the out of control sex junkie that I once was when I had both testicles, on the contrary, low dose is enough to prevent depression and the previous mentioned illnesses, to a point. I'm not drawn to porn, I don't even think about sex, though I do wake up with erections. What's interesting is that I don't care to use the erections. I am married and my wife does occassionally want to engage in sexual relations, but she actually likes me better since I no longer hound her. In fact, she has to initiate it and she likes the fact that she doesn't feel obligated to please me. I've had relations three times since my castration in March, and have not had an orgasm. It's great for her, but enough details about that.
Controlling the amount of testosterone also enables me to regulate it, and it's going well. I can sense when I've had enough and when it's too little. All in all, a eunuch is one who is castrated, even if he is replacing the testosterone. Some will say that they are not true eunuchs, and that's their opinion. Had my testosterone levels been low to begin with, I may not have sought castration, though I'm not positive. I might have a hard wire problem in my brain too, a predisposition that rejected my testicles. Any way, those are some thoughts and I'm sure they will stir up some arguments. Hash

Thanks for your views Hash. It's interesting to hear that you control your own testerone levels. I'm stuck with the slow release pellet for six months, or so. Do you use oral testerone, or patches, Hash.
It's early days since becoming a eunach, but already I feel permantly happy and content. That aside, the way I see myself is unchanged.
