Re: signs of dead balls?
Well, it sounds like Bubba has already used the burdizzo and wants to know if it worked.
There should be no sensation whatsoever within the testicles themselves if they are dead. The burdizzo, if effective, would have severed the nerves as well as the blood supply, and dead tissue cannot have feeling.
The scrotum should still have feeling because they are on a separate nervous branch, and if you used the burdizzo properly you should not have crushed all the way across the scrotum.
Note that the burdizzo is not very effective on primates (including humans). Primates have very flexible spermatic cords due to the fact they can mate all the time, whereas other mammals like herd animals have quite brittle spermatic cords. Herd animals like sheep can actually be castrated just by twisting the testicles.
If your experience is like most others here, the feeling in the testicles will come back, but burdizzo use (and repeated use) will start causing problems with the spermatic cord, including haemotomas and such. Best not to do it. Trust me, if it worked a lot more of us here would be full-fledged eunuchs.
