Just wanted to share somethings that I wasn't able to share or post because the site was down. I went to see my Pakistani doctor to have my post castration stitches removed two weeks after my castration. Because of my scrotal/testicle abuse, Kimmel stated that he decided to use the non-disolving type of stitches and told me to leave them in for two weeks, which I did. I made an appointment with my female Pakistani doctor to have them removed, April 5th. Yes, I could have removed them myself, but I wanted her to take a look anyway and get her impression of her new eunuch patient. I can't say she was shocked, but she asked lots of questions. She had previously treated me for "hypogonadism," low testosterone and I did tell her that the remaining testicle was giving me trouble, which it was. (She was the one who suggested seeing a urologist over a year ago). She came in the room, told me to get up on the table and lie back. She took a good look at my empty scrotum. Then she moved it around and felt the emptiness. She appeared really curious. She asked how I was doing and feeling, pressing me for answers. I told her I felt fine, a little weak, but alright. She again felt my scrotum, I think to confirm that I truly was castrated. Then she asked if I was depressed about it. I think I shocked her when I told her no, that I felt good about it. She then called the nurse in and ordered a blood test, while I laid there bare. The nurse took a look, but didn't say anything, though I'm sure she said something to some of the other women staff. I felt that all eyes were upon me as I paid my co-payment and made another appointment. I think the doc called her in so that people in the office would believe her. This is a three doctor practice.
Today I went back (May 10th). My female Pakistani doctor wanted to do a follow up check up. I just sat in the waiting room, the nurse took my pulse & blood pressure and then the doctor came in. She asked some questions about how I was feeling and I told her I was noticing some changes. "What changes," well I said I'm feeling weak and more fatigued. "Anything else? Any sexual changes?" That surprised me, but I told her that my sexual desire was pretty low and that I was having fewer erections, which I am. "That is typical," she said in her Pakistani dialect. Then she said matter of factly, "I'd like to take a look to make sure things are all right." She stood up and I stood up, just the two of us, and I dropped my drawers and crawled up on the table while she watched. She told me to lie back and when I did she pushed my male member back with one hand and felt around my empty scrotum with the other. She told me, "Everything looks fine. I will see you in a couple months. You're do for your annual physical." Then I gave her the fax number for my "compounding pharmacist." We exchanged goodbyes, she left and I left. It was not a sexual experience, but it was definetly strange. I'm not sure what to make of it, except that she was/is curious. Comments? Hash.
P.S. I decided to try a different "compounding pharmacy" that I recently found a few blocks from my home. I was travelling to Hershey PA but the traffic from all the people going to Hershey Amusement Park was terrible. So I gave my doc the fax number of my new pharmacy.

Re: My female Pakistani doctor
It sounds to me like you have made a new friend.
It is good to have a doctor who will never forget you.
Stick with her like you are glue.

Doctor's are people too, so emotions, curiosity, cruelty can all be part of their practice. I think curiousity is better than clinical distain that many male doctors seem to impart. I think most women go into medicine to actually help people, while at best men go in for the scientific interest.
With regard to being possibly embarassed, don't be! You're castrated and you wanted to be. If you really cared about whether women found you manly or sexually attractive, you'd have made different decisions in your life.
And think of all the women over the years that have tolerated male gynaecologists! I guarantee there is more potential for non-professionalism in that situation.

Most male doctors think they're God, or at least, occupy a position elevated above us mere humans. I wonder if women doctors feel the same.

Re: My female Pakistani doctor
Got the results of my blood test for testosterone: 150ml. My doctor said that that was pretty low and she asked me to check with Dr. Kimmel about raising the amount. (I told her his name and that he was the urologist who removed my remaining testicle, but that was all). I of course, cannot ask Dr. Kimmel, because he wouldn't approve of me using testosterone supplementation. Dr. Kimmel wants those he castrates to remain true eunuchs or MTF transgenders. But as I continued to talk, my female Pakistani doctor said that she would prefer that I see a local endocrinologist, it's the only way she'll raise my testosterone amount. So I said o.k. This seems to be new territory for her and she's really on the ball
about it. 150 isn't bad, but I'd like to get up to about 250, which should be about
right for me. I'll fill you in as soon as I find things out. Hash. By the way, she's sweet and good looking to boot.

Interesting report. I go to a clinic of ~6 docs specializing in gay clients. My doc was initially shocked when I told him several years ago I'd been castrated - on the occasion of a routine physical, but he shortly came around to the curious mode. I've since found out that the clinic has ~10 castrates and thus has a lot of experience in serving the group of us. Except when I had a skin tag removed from my scrotum about a year ago, the only occasions he's had to feel the empty sac is during the routine annual physical exams. I maintain a fairly minimal testosterone replacement regime, and the only thing I get asked about at the docs are my energy levels and sex life.
I had a mild heart attack a little over 3 months ago. I was only in hospital 4 days, but they were quite open to my using the Androgel when I told them it was part of my normal routine. BTW, the cause was rectified surgically 2 days after the event. They advised that I stay off my bike for a week, mostly to allow the surgical incision to heal. They said I could go back to my running, etc. within a month, which I did. I passed a physical 'stress' test a month ago when I did a simulated mile at a 16% grade in 12 minutes. I've been withdrawing gradually from the meds that aided healing by slowing down my heart rate and preventing clotting, and will be off them altogether as at the coming Victoria Day weekend.

150 is way low. I don't know how you feel about getting your Testosterone into "average" levels but if I were you I would try to get much higher. 400 at least. When mine goes below 300 I start getting anxiety, energy, memory and sexual problems.
BTW Dr Spector (I think) was also against Testosterone in any form based on my emails with him and his book. Good luck with your Doctor! She sounds really great but I think you will have to change Doctors before you ask her out or she is going to be in a serious conflict. Or is that just Shrinks?!
