Eunuchs & Energy Level, Or Lack Thereof

Post by madscientist1 (imported) »

🚬 Some of you, either surgical or chemical eunuchs, claim to be suffering from a decreased energy level due to lack of testorone. I have been taking 2cc's of B complex w/B12 vitamins a week, available at www.valleyvet.com, ever since I have been on Depo-Provera and have not noticed any energy problems in myself. In fact, I might actually have an increase in energy levels because of this. Of course, this may be all psychosomatic.

Yes, I know. Some people swear by B12 and others say it ain't worth shit. But you might want to try it and see for yourself. It's cheap, and who knows. It just might do something for you.

I find that Rock Star energy drink picks me up. I have been on depo-provera since the start of January and when I am tired it works. It is also loaded with various B vitamins, including B12 which may help.

Again, may by the placebo effect, but seems to work.

I'm tellin' ya, get a puppy and borrow a little kid.

Seriously, as for the B-12 complex, I started that a month ago, the more expensive "good stuff", not the Mart type discount brand. Does nothing for me, except make my urine smell like the tablets.

I also find, since I make notes on stuff like this, that when I am very fatigued I crave fruits. (Pineapples, oranges, grapefruit) - what did you think I meant?! I don't know if this ties in with the lower testosterone levels or not.

I ALWAYS crave fruits, but they don't always grow on vines or trees.....

My doctor once told me that, if you have a very strong & specific craving for some kind of food, your body is telling you that it requires whatever primary nutrient that that food supplies. For example: if you crave bananas, you might need a boost of certain trace minerals, ect. If the crave is that strong and that specific, go for it.

He was very quick to specify "good" foods, and not munchies, alas. :-\

Just a thought.

🚬 The problem is that you may not have the enzyme in your stomach that you need to absorb B12. That is why I suggest shots.
