I am a dog person; I have had dogs my whole life. I have raised dogs; there purpose in life is to please you. When your not feeling up to par, your best friend is there for you.

My daughter had this kitten, cute little guy, named tiger. The problem was that this cat would scratch the baby's in their cribs at night, thinking that that hand hanging out was something to play with.

She said she was going to take him to the animal shelter and he would have had a home right off. So I took the cat.

Cats are different then dogs; I am not sure what I was thinking of taking this kitten into my home. I think I am doing ok; Rupert is just over 2 years old. I did not realize that cats talk to you;their maw is different for different things. I am not sure when I realized that I had been trained up to his standards.

This evening I had the gut ache from hell, bad cramps everything. Rupert who is not a lap cat got on my lap and stayed there. This happened several months ago when I was sick that he stayed at my side. I truly love this little guy.

Some day in the near future I am going to get a dog, Rupert will need to approve so we will see.

It dosen't matter what other pet I get and how we bond, Rupert will always be number one to me.

Hey River,

That was cool, that Rupert senced you were sick. I myself am a kitty person, dont get me wrong, I love dogs too, and i've had many through the years. I now have 3 cats. One I brought back from another state. She had kittens, 1 lived, a boy and I kept him. He is now a big *Tom* and a big baby. Then 4 yrs later we got a kitty that was a runt, she is named *itty bitty* she is 16 months now and spaded also, as my others are fixed too. I do love my cats. but I also have a house guest, my daughter and her dog, a *Great Dane* *giggles... big dog, been here 9 months, cant wait till they move out...lol. Scared the heck out of my poor kitty when she first got here, but now they are back to running the house. :D btw...I have one bird too, and daughters 2 lizards. So much for a peaceful living as ya get older. lol

love always, Lilac

Of course this is a matter of interpretation. You could just as easily have argued that the cat found the most painful spot and plonked himself there to make it worse.

It tends to work better the other way round. My parents acquired a new kitten. The cat rescue people were concerned about the dog in the house. The dog decided that the kitten was a puppy....

I've lived with cats all my life, but I'm not really a cat person. Don't like when they sit in your lap for hours, or when they demand attention with that feline sadism, or any of those cattish things. I love the four we have just like any other member of the animal kingdom, but frankly I'm glad they aren't in the room right now. My favorite cat of the four is currently Sophie, because she's become so wild and independant we can barely pet her, whereas the other cats have to mark you over and over and over and... what's that you're typing? I think I'll stick my slimy nose against your hand. Plus she's a beautiful cat, unmistakable from a purepred Russian Blue even though we picked her up from under a car a few winters ago.

No, truly I am a ferret person. ๐Ÿ™„ One day I will actually have some too.

I hope all enjoy this:

"The Creation of Man's Best Friend"

-Author Unknown

The Great Mother called a beast to her side and said, ย“I want my children to be happy for they are created in my image. Therefore you must adore them. You will protect them, shepherd their flocks, watch over them and accompany them wherever they may go. You will be their companion, their ally and their slave. You will walk by my children, sleep in their doorway, protect them from their enemies, share their troubles and love and comfort them. For doing this my children will fulfill your needs and wants which will only be food, water, shelter and love.

To do these things I will give you instincts that I have given no other animal: faithfulness, devotion and understanding beyond that of even my children. So that your courage will never fail you shall never foresee your death. So you will be eternally loyal you will be blind to the faults of my children. So that your heart can be understood you will be denied the power of words but will speak to my children only with your mind and through your eyes. So be silent and be a friend of my children. This will be your legacy and your immortality for I have placed you above all beasts.ย”

The dog heard and was content.

Clearly, Dan Brown carries out a plan that either Averell Harriman or Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller assigned William Webster. What that plan is must be of such profound a nature that only the most elite people can grasp its significance. โ˜• ๐Ÿ’ก ๐Ÿ†•๐Ÿˆ
