Re: Dell Computers
I am glad you now like your Dell computer, in my experience with just about every computer manufacturer (including local guys, and building my own) Dell has been about as good as it gets in the industry. The first comment you made about wishing you'd have bought the Apple you wanted in the first place is very interesting. An old adage of don't settle for your second choice for any reason comes to play here, no matter what happens you'll always be easily disappointed when you do.

Re: Dell Computers
I think that I got a lot of features that I wanted with my Dell that I could not get with the Apple I wanted. I am probably going to get my girlfriend an Apple, but that has to wait for me to begin a second career (I just retired).
My complaint was with dealing with all the automoated answering services that Dell offers. Once I spoke with a person, I got good service.

Amen. No matter what the product is, or what the problem is, or who the vendor is, there is no satisfactory substitute for contacting the right person. Persistence pays.
